Some Reasons
Prices always rising for the past decades. A lot of things in Sinapore are the most expensive in the world. And many ppl cannot retire even after reaching the retirement age. Made worse when few companies would hire them.
Some people already retiring in other countries to stretch their dollars. -

Why not? People always say Singapore is an expensive country to live in. Which other developed country is not expensive?? Can u be sure that the other developed country share the same racial harmonity as Singapore? We as Asians, will be despised wouldn't we?

i can walk into a louis vuttion bouqitue in brisbane in slippers, a torn teeshirt and boardshorts, and i get the same standard of service that people in suits get.
in singapore, i walk into hugo boss dressed like that and get ridiculously crap service. they act like its the best label on the planet and are snobs, when really, hugo boss is cheap smart causual. obviously anyone could dress up to go shopping - but what idiots do?
the versace at the paragon seemed okay though...very friendly. -
