How to encourage PR to become Citizen

There are PRs who eventually take up singapore citizenship. But there are many PRs working in Singapore, who still prefer to retire in their own countries.
Any suggestion on how to encourage this group of PRs to take up citizenship? -

even if i marry a sgrean i'll not take citizenship.

I know of a Singapore PR who married a local. One reason he wanted to keep his citizenship is because he wanted his children to receive their education in his home country at local rates. -
PR and citizen dun pay very big diff in the sch fees what.....why be a citizen when u get about the same benefit as citizen but can ran or retire to other country next time...Originally posted by SnowFlag:B'cos u dun want to retire here?

ok la. not much difference in school fees.
i got a stupid bond with gov now. cos of subsidized sch fees.
why nv take up citizenship
1) parents wanna go back hometown one fine day (even tho i'd rather them stay)
2) sis don't want to stay in sg
3) i don't want to give up my british passport (nice leh)
i sort of see myself as a sgrean also. been singing the anthem and saying the pledge since K2. just can't bear to part with my passport. -
