  Since little positive response to this topic, i guess beauty contests do little, if not none, to promote world peace

  they do.... human especially guys are only interested in money, gals and power.. so.... when u give them gals to see... they will have less time to think about power and money and this will lead to less quarrel , war or backstabbing.... no time u know??
