  That Cinema display is a luxury piece of hardware dude. No doubt the quality and finishing is there but there are alternatives man. I stick to CRTs anytime.

  I very anal about my gear one.. Must match..
  Anyway it's also for practical reasons, I work with extremely large image files and a3 to a2 documents, a larger display can see more mah.. My powerbook display see until cock eye sia..

  If you have the dough to spend.. why not? They are great piece of hardware that'll serve you for years to come.
