Fast food? More like slow food to me.

ever walked into a fast food joint, very crowded. out of 4, 5 counters only 1 counter is open, resultng in long queeue.
or the waiter/waitress tells u to wait at your table while they prepare your order, and will deliver to u when it's done. but ends up they forgotten about u and u have to walk there just to remind them.
just some personal experiences and observations.

yeah true lor...i ordered the prosperity chicken sandwich at mac some mths back & they told me to sit down & wait. after finishing half my packet of fries, they still haven given me the burger yet. to think i am already a slow eater liao.
hav u notice mac has removed the 'free apple pie if the serving time is more than a minute' thing? issit bcoz they r really slow & hav given out a lot of apple pies? -

usually it's the supervisor or manager that is taking the orders at the counter. the rest of the staffs are doing everything except manning the closed counters.

If you think that MacDonald's is slow, you should compare it with KFC. Although I'm not a fastfood fan of MacDonald's, I'd say that their service on average is much faster than KFC.
During peak hours, it's inevitable that certain items on the menu runs out and we gotta wait. Which brings me to the next point. KFC never seem to make us wait for their chicken parts. For how long exactly have the chicken been cooked and left there for? -

Mos Burger is nice. But one meal can't satisfy my hunger. I usually have to order an additional burger, and Mos Burger meals are more expensive than the other fastfood.
