PAST LIFE REGRESSION

Years ago,joining the yoga meditation but i'm not a buddhist.An investigation of past lifes regression is my motive.
Yoga teacher told me that after attaining fourth jhanas,clear consciousness with full concentration of one-pointedness,will have the ability to recall back past life's memories.Supposedly!
One night,i'd attained the fourth jhanas,with or without the intention of past lifes regression,images flashed by inside my mind,seeing many unfamiliar faces crowded me.I was lost in times and different culture people were crying for my dying bodies.
Memories of dying views were flashback until its stopped at one life where battlefield was seen with many bloodied died soldiers,black smoke covered up the sky,i was badly injured and dying.Next moment,i was carried away acrossing an old bridge,seeing strange dressing ancient people grieved over my death(not yet)!
Then i saw the ancient statues of Egypt.
(correction:Babylon)
As all flashback,i could't even see my ownself of individual past lifes.
That's odd,perhaps!
I'd consulted my yoga teacher,he seem to be surprised of my quick result and he tried to convince me that i had my past life regression yet i could have better experience.
Is past lifes regression real?
Or an illusion regression?
Suspicious as lacking of oxygen in brain due to meditate late at night,and breathing through nostril is not functioning normally coz yoga practise is require as mind is letting go physical attachments.
Brain is playing tricks! Perhaps!

i thought normally people had their past lifes regression,saw their previous lifes' identities too..
why yours so special ar?

so sad! I've been practising meditation for nearly a year,still could't attain
fourth jhanas,no past lifes regression
Water rat,how come you attain your fourth jhanas in a short time?

Actually dont necessarily need to attain Fourth Jhana to recall previous life. I have read that even before 1st Jhana, attaining Access Concentration one *might* recall past life memories.
However, past life regression is not the same from memories gotten from meditation. Procedure and method is not really the same. -

you have read from 'book' that before 1st jhana,access to concentration one might recall....have you got any experiences thru such? or heard from other practitioners?

The commonly known past life regression doesn't ask you to enter into Jhanas. Entering jhana is not easy, it can take years of meditation practise. -

But with the help of habitual karma and mindset plus other factors like; past lifes karma,and deity help etc... -

hi all....i had bad experience with past life regression.i'd paid one hundred dollars to be hypnosis by a master but waited for one hour still no recalling haizzzzzzz.....after long boring sleepless section, she only took $50...
i was so pissed off man...

i love his first book,believing that he's telling the true stories....
But later on his second book regarding soulmates met each other in his clinic,and his discovering of their past memories....this is too much as getting out of way....haizzzzzzzzz....
Nevertheless,his first book is loving to be read.

Hmmm....how come all of you can access the memories of your past life?
Everyone has memories of their past life. These memories are stored in a part of the human mind not normally accessible under normal conditions.
You need the help of a hypnotist to access these memories for you.
