Next time learn to do this.
When ever someone who came later and flagging taxi before you.
Shake your head.
It works thrice for me.
Once a mother and son try to flag the taxi after i was waiting there before them.
The taxi drive purposely stopped in front of me to test the reaction of the mother and son.
The second time there was this guy who saw me shake my head and backed off...
The third time, the taxi driver stopped in front of the old lady but stepped on the accelerator and stopped in front of me. -

Yhe taxi driver in fact told me the first time that he saw me shaking my head and knew I was likely to be flagging for taxi before the mother n son. So he intentionally stopped in front of me to see if they will dare to snatch the taxi from me.
