How to boost forum ratings

  Someone PM-ed me this morning to ask whether this forum can make it to the first page of rankings. Currently I am proud to say that ~life~ is in the second page...
  
  So any ideas on how to get the ratings up? Just something I am curious about...

  i think the ranking is important but the integrity of the threads posted in the our forum is also just as important.
  
  we have seen many forums , in bid to gain posts, resort to all kinds of scandal....even at the expense of their freinds...
  which i dun think boss u wanna see hapening in ~Life~....
