This may not interest most of you, but I find it interesting enough to share.

endorphin is a program developed by Torsten Reil. It uses neural networks to analyse motion and is adaptive to improve on the movements. In one experiment it created 200 figures and eventually some models managed to learn to walk.
It gained prominence when it was used in The Return of the King simulating the huge fighting scenes during battles. It will find itself involved in an upcoming movie, Troy.
