Sorry ah.. Me very blur one.. But I really want to find out more about NS before I go at the end of the year.. 3 Questions..
1) What determines if you are a PES A, B, C
2) What is the difference between OCS and SISPEC
3) What is monointake... what does it seem so hard?? Is it something like commandos?

BMTC sch 1 shiong meh....sch 2 worse...sch 1 got a lot of welfare liao...sch 2 'T' and 'O' company are the shiong ones in bmtc. Any way bmtc cannot compare to those mono intakes, commados, guardsmen , sispec, ocs...or even safec. Trust me bmtc is the place where all the welfare...even if the food sucks...food cook by cooks taste even worse....Jusz try to ride it thur wif ur buddies and section mates....all of u are going thur the same shit...when the sgts..pump u jusz think he's helping u to keep fit..the more...he gives u...the more u will like it...cose u luv this shit...where in the world can u find such malebonding ...wif ur buddies. The weeks will past by like a flash and the next thing u know..it POP and that will be the best day of ur bmtc life........

I was one of the first batch of unlucky poly grad who were send to infantry to become rifleman!!!! Those bloody beng kanna mono intake one all fuck up attitude.. Never work one lah.... Then poly grad (All the CPL) have to do all the dirty job for them...
Those Beng(Usually comes with tattoo) in the unit every time act like tough guy machoman but when go for mission all report sick, I think girls are guides tougher than them!!!!
U can say go Complain!!! Complain to who.. The commander either scared of them of helpless!!!! The MO in unit u think like BMT
every thing ATT B or ATT C... They don't treat u like human being... Worst then dog I tell u...But this is only true if u are a man in unit lah. For commander different I tell u first class treatment!!!!

Those guys who complains are BLOODY LOSERS. You are not guys but girls. I think Singapore would be better off with girls doing NS then you people. Little bit complain. Little pain complain. u mean OCS and SiSPEC is not tough ? wanna come and try ?? NOwadays in BMT, life is getting better. Now, u can't knock a recruit down for more and 20 pushups in half an hour...etc etc.. u know wat punishments we get in BMT just exactly one year ago ?? I think its better you all find out. THen u ask yourselves again if BMT now is tough. I really wonder if SAF are training soldiers.. or they are just training a bunch of weaklings.

Why does anyone bother making a fuss about how "soft" our soldiers are becoming, I wonder? I mean, I heard it when I was in BMT ('93). My elder brother heard it when he was in BMT ('91). My cousin heard it when he was in BMT ('85). It's the same thing over and over again. Everyone thinks the next generation is weaker.
What is the minimum standard that would satisfy you? The kind of BMT that YOU went through? But guys 2 or 3 years your senior would say that's also bloody relak, compared to what THEY went through. And so on and so forth. Where do you draw the line?? What do you want - hard-nosed 60's era Israeli instructors firing live rounds a few inches over your heads? A horrific training regimen when you go for your ICT? -

I have to agree with Chaz that it is better to be either at top or bottom....Section Leader/Platoon Sgt...stuck in between PC and Men...not easy for them.
Even Generals also stuck between politicians and his forces. That is why perhaps so many of our generals become politicians lah
