, Stayed as an instructor. And many other sword of merits stayed too. The logic is that they want better Instructors in OCS nowadays, hence the regular APCS.
My view is that it's better to suffer 10 months in OCS getting better pay and then passing out as an offcer. Depending on posting it may be 8 to 5 or some other siong posting. But being an Officer has perks that allows a better life in NS. And the pay does help too.
I was posted to an 8 to 5 instructional role. Only staying back or going overseas when training demanded it. The best thing it was 5 mins from my house and near Holland Village.
