Hi there anyone fellow forumers have heard of this company Omega Trend? My friend is in it and I want to find out more for him. Pls share your views.
But from waht he shared with me it sure sound more like one of those MLM company to me

if you want to understand more about the coy, go ask the pp in that coy. if you want to know more about mlm, ask the pp who are successful in mlm.

No matter what company u r from, lets not backstab each other since it does no good to the industry.
Why this industry is getting worse is due to blacksheep among these companies. Jus take a look at the newspaper for the past one month, alot of articles is focusing on NETWORK MARKETING, and they also teaches us how to prevent from bad companies. if u wan to know, read the straits times forum on MLM and chinese lianhezhaobao on last sunday 18/01/04.
Most imptly, its not the money that counts. Some need money as their motivation, some need cars as their motivation, some need to sit down relax doing nothing to get money.. but there are some here to know more new friends, some here to learn the skills tat a real networker can attain eg public speaking and communication skills, and some here to gain general knowledge since it is an industry with people from all works of life.

As what I know, if you join in OmegaTrend, you will have to join in Sanden Brooke too.
For you to join in Sanden Brooke, you will have to purchase a box of products, they call it the "starter pack".
Of course you can say "I wanna join OmegaTrend, But don't want buy Sanden Brooke products."
In this case, because you didn't buy Sanden Brooke products as starter pack, so you are only allowed to recruit new members and NOT to sell any products.
Actually, MUST buy products to join a company, this is going against the Direct Selling Association Act.

I am a good salesman, I can sell things without using it first.
I hope to sell & make profit, then I can purchase products for my own use with those profit.
I don't want to spend few hundreds just to buy some products so called "try products", it's a waste of time & money.
But if I am allowed to sell then only buy, it's a different story.
Don't tell me "you can sell away that starter pack", this is BS story. What I want is, case if my friend want the chocolate food bar, then I order that ONLY.
I don't want to take a whole box of products and put it at home then sell it one by one.
