I have not joined any MLM although I am currently pondering to join Amway.
I consider myself to be quite open-minded about MLM and am willing to learn more whenever people ask me out. To me, it doesn't matter whether I join in the end but at least I get the information right?
But then, the two things I hate about MLM are the members who:
1. keep on pestering me to join even after I say no;
2. ask me out for business discussion but then let his supervisor talks to me which makes me feel like I am being interrogated...
Anyone here feel the same?
Agree. I also faced such experience with some MLM people before.
I suppose there will sure be black sheep in whichever marketing models.
Personally, I don’t find MLM a bad model. However, there are some pple who only care about earning money from family & friends and don’t bother to really recommend good quality products based on their own experience. That will then defeats the MLM true purpose.
There could be scams with some MLM. So have to be careful when you are considering to join any MLM. Must understand the background of the company, the vision of the founder, etc.
So after carefully evaluating, I found one MLM company which I’m most comfortable with. And I’m going to run this business with a clear conscience + right principle that we are going to share good quality products with families and friends only after we have used the products ourselves for a while.
MLM business will definitely go far if:
- we are sincere & honest
- we don’t hard sell
- we only share based on our knowledge and experience
- we share knowledge for the benefits of others
Ultimately, my principles:
Some will
Some won’t
So what?
Someone’s waiting
So no need to hard sell like a pest…LOL
Never never join Amway or venture era if you are considering to join an MLM company.. please
MLM is a great model and it works. The problem is most people have wrong expectation and do it the wrong way.
I am a cosway member......but long time nvr buy anything from them...kekekeke....
It's hard to be a part of a business (or recommend someone to join) when you are not a consumer of your own products. I am a memeber of CieAura - I order and use the products on a monthly basis. Not because I am required to do so, but because I gain benefits from use. From this perspective it is easier for me to share the product as a happy consumer, as well as advocate the products and business opportunity.

Do they have a local office? If yes, can help me make an appointment?
I like to find out more information in person.
Now back to the subject proper: recently i was kind of pissed off when I stumple upon a mlm company agent post newspaper ads claiming to look for part time sales & marketing staffs..only to realize, shit, just fall for the same old trick again..lol.

thanks for the reminder.
nvm about the location, just don't call those newspaper ads with no clear details such as the follow:
the above should help most job seekers stay clear of those agents who are still using news ads to lure unsuspecting leads.
I joined amway and alken as I use their products. So far I am just sharing their product benefits to friends and relatives. I think MLM is a good model but the problem is how to make the 1st move....selling. so how any good mentor out there?
