but i realized that there are more and more education seminars going on, esp those that entice quick $ making seminars

mlm isnt illegal.. but wat sxnshxne empire doing is illegal... they faked projects making ppl putting their money into it... and turned out to be a hoax..

Lots of "Get rich fast but die trying" schemes these days.
Especially recession time, everybody just wants to make an easy buck to survive.

I recently got a call from an old army buddy of mine whom I hadn't met in years.
Elation turned to disappointment when he offered to meet me for kopi near his workplace..... to discuss 'some network marketing part-time job' he had to offer me.
Needless to say, he won't be hearing from me again for the next few years.

I once was invited by a friend to attend one of these MLM sessions years back.
Lots of screaming and cheering and clapping when people walked up to the stage to receive some fantastic achievement award. For selling some stuff that will help you achieve maximum fitness and make your life complete.
Lots of retelling of poor people struggling to make it big and then found the road to riches when they joined the MLM company.
All the people below the stage around me had this strange look on their faces.
Creepy.

oh.. haha..! i ever went up e sunshine thingy before.. where they keep desribing how young this guy is.. and he achieved to be a millionaire etc... and all sorts of crap.. and even took me for a walk at their carpark... so many BMWs... hmmm... seriously wonder out of 1000 ppl who got recruited... hw many will strike it big?

It's the 990 people who are paying for the company's 10 BMWs.

MLM: Buy products at low price from company and sell them at a higher price to other people
Stocks: Buy stocks at lower price and sell them to others at a higher price
Any diff?
Both also involve equal risks in buying; the risk of losing 100% capital. -

I can earn >100%
It was for example that I took the worst case scenario for a newbie using own funds, not using CFD or any leverage, shorts, etc.... and compare with a newbie entering MLM
