Also, the products are mainly daily products that we all use every day, so we will still buy it somehow whether from here or the supermarket, so its just simply redirect purchases rather than forking out to buy extra unnecessary products.
Cunning and being manipulative will not work for the long term, maybe short term, but sooner, everybody will see the person's true colours and the business will collapse.. that's why to build a long-term one is simply to have integrity, care for others and willing to put in the effort to build and work.
The delaying tactic will also only be done by cunning and manipulative people as described above.
No matter which company, as long as it is a reputable one, it depends on one's individual effort.
There is. A minimum amount of money needed to be spent for amways product. And it's way more expensive than that I buy from NTUC.
Many people worked really hard in this industry, yet those who succeed are those with extra contacts, the ability to present and of course make the sale. It's more on results not effort. You have to understand that not everyone is created equal.
I side track a bit hor....I have a water filter system from amway and I think it needs servicing...at least need to change the filter bah...so can I go straight down to amway building at bukit merah and get the filter or do I have to go find someone with amway and get tru him/her?....the amway guy who got me this water system is posted overseas...not coming back in the near future...
Anyone?

Nope. The 'original' plan is for the pioneers to easily get promoted. More of the confidence booster for the downlines. Those incentives and % of profits came from a source which is own or downline sales. Lets say the new co. made it difficult to promote people, then no one would be confident that the new co. is good. and if the co. remain the same plan, then there would be majority of the agents to of the same ranks. Which we fail to see in mlm. The few on top and the rest in the bottom.

Haha, yup, actually what I am trying to mean is that every year there are people who are able or looking for opportunities etc.. someone may not be ready last year but not this year etc.. coz everybody is growing every year :)

of course, but that too depends on economy. the market. Some MLM co.s are already recruiting Cheenas. Singapore is only 4.5 million strong. How many are interested? How many babies, elderly, working people, unemployed?
so lets say it takes 10 yrs for an 18 yr old to qualify for registering with own money, would you still wait? I doubt so.

Actually, even if I am not in the business anymore, the products are those that I will still continue to use, as I have fell in love with the products.. the quality is not only exceptional, but most importantly, it is very user-friendly, environmentally-friendly and very safe.. and the price is actually low per usage for the home care products, almost similar to the NTUC one.
Yup, there are some people who have more charisma, and some who need to do more extra work.. but ultimately, I think it doesnt matter if say I take 10 yrs where others need 2 yrs.. as long as we reach the same goal in the end. We are not competing with others, only continously learning and improving within ourselves, and gain experience, knowledge and to be a better person in life.

I can wait for 10 yrs for that person if I need to and he is interested. In the meantime, there are others who were the same 10 yrs ago, and now able to qualify etc that I can look for.
Btw, in Malaysia, 30 yrs, there are already people now who are the 2nd generation, i.e. their parents started building when they werent even born, and now, they started building and with new people, new friends, they too able to make it.. so its the same everywhere.

It seems that you are still in the brainwashed mode of mlm.
1 key point is THE PRODUCT IS FABULOUS AND I WILL USE IT FOR LIFE.
Only someone who left the co. and keep at a distance for a least 1 yr will wake up from this trance.
Not competing with each other? Let's say there is 1 downline left in the world, won't you compete to sign him up. Don't tell me that it would be Impossible that it could happen as these are all avoiding tactics of mlm. MLM have lots of lobeholes that agents are trying to cover as an ethical business.

How few are these people that you've mentioned. MLM has been promising people that they would reach there no matter what.

It's best u apply for their membership, since u already have something that requires u to purchase at least one item every yr. Cos members usually get products cheaper & being a member allows u to order via online & get them to deliver the products to you w/o u moving an inch.
I suppose simpleboi will eleborate more to u, if u r interested.

???
I talking bout the products not bout the business, have u tried the products?
There are people who even go around to look for others to get some products coz its thats good, and they automatically want to get the products themselves and they are not doing the business at all.. I have many friends like that, and this is coz they love the products..

It's not no matter what. Impossible to reach anywhere if dun do anything or keep doing the wrong things.
You will only reach there if you build it consistently and continuously, and most imptly to put down your ego and willing to learn from scratch and to change to breakthrough oneself. And of coz to leverage on the system provided.
It is never easy, requires a lot of work and learning and down periods, but it's simple.. and it's the perseverance too that counts.
Actually with the recession coming, I think a lot of people will be suckered into joining MLMs.
Desperate times calls for desperate measures.

Another MLM speech.
Look at the broader view and MLM pyramid is very clear.

I know. When I was in VE and so many others like me in other mlm co.s, we would think, Wah! Product is the best. Very good. It is after we left that we realised that the products are worth nothing.
Another key of mlm, friends LOVE THE PRODUCTS. Like, maybe , but LOVE? It's really exagerated.
I have met people who worked for companies who are relatively well off.
I have met people who started their own business selling stuff who are relatively well off.
But I have yet to really meet anybody who is from an MLM company that is well off.
Maybe I live in a shell and know too little people.

gd one.
MLM-ers, bunch of despos.
Look at this guppy(Simple boi) trying to drown itself in a pool of anti mlmers. We may be biased in our opinions, yet you still struggle to defend your pathetic industry. Why so desperate? A confident person would just leave and ignore what others might say.
Anywho, how much have you earned from this industry?

I am not struggling to defend this industry.. Just correcting misconceptions on the company and the business by stating facts. There is nothing to defend and not desperate for anything too lol.
Yup, I can easily leave and ignore.. that's what normally I do anyway.. coz we do not change others, we just look for those who are willing to partner and work together etc. :)
If I said I only earned $1 from this industry, does it give more credibility? Or need to say $1000000? Anyway it's not just the money.. plenty other things can make money also...

So what have you been doing for the past few post? Must remember facts are NOT what your company tell you.
I can gurantee that so far, you've earned not more than $100.

The facts are that there are people who want the products as I have friends who wants them too..
Actually, even $100 every month extra is a good side income.. and to me, at this point, I am doing it for my family's security, and also able to help others do so.
