I want to hold a gathering such that mlmers can promote their opportunity and people who wish to join can come to compare among the companies and understand first hand about the industry. However i will need to know which company you are from if you want to promote your opportunity as i don't want to associate with scammers.

MLMs aren't pyramid scams.. but most if not all, behave like pyramids scams in singapore...

but MLMs work almost that way here...
where the money comes from recruiting more people under you as opposed to selling stuff, it's a pyramid..

And if you are saying that MLM is about earning your friends and relative's money that's worse man!!!.
Don't tell me if you open a shop, your shop will stated a label saying that anyone who knows you as friend or your relative are NOT WELCOME because you don't want to earn friends and relatives money ?

It's true that most corporations run in a top-down approach.
Why we don't like MLM? Most sell products that most people won't buy. If the products are good and people are buying them, I have nothing to say.
If got no sales then how to support those 'guaranteed returns' that MLM companies promised?
If you say I can double my investment in 1 year, which is 100% returns, using $100 invested and compounded for 25yrs, I have 3.3Billion. Which is amazing lah! I can be billionaire liao right?
And if the money keep doubling like this for another 5 years I would have 106Billion, richer than Warren Buffett liao.Then like this how they pay me huh? I invest $100 only leh.
The reason why MLM fail is they dont have enough sales to meet those guaranteed obligations, in other words their overwhelming compensation payout to investors are out of this world. Like this who will believe? You tell me how?

I get your point, but what company said that and what product were they promoting. If there wasn't a product, it is a pyramid scam. And did i say i would project such huge profits and guarantee your success?
The thing is if you don't work at it, would you succeed? If you never study at all for a test then what are your chances at passing it? The stock market is risky, but did the people who lost money in the stock market take the time to study the market and learn how to read the graphs?
Anyway this post is for people who would want to have the opportunity for personal growth and development.

its actually not that people wont buy that product... its that people wont buy it at that price... right? -
actually you have to see how the product works, if it works well then wouldn't the price justify the quality of the product

usually the companies claim that their products are far superior to those on the shelves, but i have been around and only found a few that can proof to me with certificates that it contains better nutrients n blah blah blah, meaning superior quality for the price. Or they might change he delivery of he product, like how the body is to absorb the nutrients or something, its like music, there used to be vinyl records then tapes then cds and now mp3, so some costs are also involved in the price.

i dont get your example.... so you mean the newer/better the product, the cheaper it will be? since you quoted vinyl, tapes, cds, .mp3 files
the reason why those on shelves dont show you their certificates is because its almost impossible to do so... however you can look at their ingredients... actually mlm goods are more or less not validated by our AVA -
AVA is for food, correction. For most mlm, they are in the health supplement industry, so it would be a certifitcate from HSA, for me most of the companies that i decided to take a look at have a proper documentations to certify that their products are safe for consumption.

so you mean there are mlms which sell cheaper products than in the market?
