Is there a niche in your product?
Selling through online or retail stores?
How much do you spend on advertising and how do you market your product?
What is your % annual earnings increase per year?
Your gross margins and net margins?
Your % returns on invested capital per year?
What is your net asset value of your business after intangibles?
Current and non-current debts owed to banks and creditors?
Name me your biggest or closest competitors in the industry selling similar products.
In the current economic downturn, how is it going to affect your business and in the meantime do you have enough cash to tide through it?
What are your future projections and targets for the company?
How many shareholders are there in this company?
Lastly, how are you going to utilise the additional capital?

I'm actually interested in BodyShop(was hoping that libragirl70 is in this franchise), their sales are doing good, most of the time when I'm walking in malls, it's usually packed, girls love it, I think I know why, those fruity soaps that smells very nice. If I have enough capital, might buy a franchise. Hahaha...
Dhelpiero, are you sure supermarket is a low capital business? I highly doubt it. You need to get enough varieties of products. To get cheaper products you need to bargain in bulks. I doubt you will be the next Sheng Siong or ColdStorage. Tell me how will you manage to compete with Sheng Siong's cheaper products or ColdStorage's variety of goods?
