the crucial thing is to get a copy of the "contract" there are other people's name on it. if you can contact these people, than together you have a case. if the people don't exist, than got a possible fraud case (intention to mislead), especially if the handwriting turn out to be cheryl's.
make a police report so the police have your side of the story, than use the police report to get the contract. STOMP will just post your story, can't do much to help you.

Dun need sue, or call newspaper or go police station. Juz dun entertain their calls and dun go meet them. Stop worrying. They will give up on you once they see that u r unresponsive and won't waste their effort on u. Like it was mentioned, they r not ur employers.

Same thing happened to my friend before. Can't remember which mlm though, the one at meridien. Anyways he also signed the contract before he turned 18. Checked it out with a lawyer my dad knows and he said if you are under 18 when you sign the contract, it is considered void.
So don't worry and take this as a lesson not to blindly sign things and not to trust what people say. If VE keeps bugging you just ignore them, nothing much they can do to you.

first and foremost, TS you are an idiot for signing without reading. But no worries, you are below 18, so the contract is invalid without your parents/guardian signature.

The attendence sheet was in a table with other people's name. I am not sure if the other names are real or not.
Is there anyone here who could help me? Can I report to the authorities? Is the so called contract considered as valid?
call for job interview - means somebody inside the VE who's your friend has given your contact to them or when asked for referral upon your friend rejecting them in the process.
surveying people on the streets - you don't get paid for this on the streets, moreover this is a very old tatic which they have being doing. only appearing on the same place of the streets for 1-2hrs max then head back office already...this is usually done by the ladies since ladies can pull in more people than guys.
stranger over the phone appearing too friendly - surely got a motive already ma..why still agree to them? next time such thing happens, tape up the whole chatting process and play it online for all to listen to deter such people and tatics again lor.
persistently insisted that I go for their seminar or talk - this is a sign of hard-core selling, since she no longer can attract her friends nor 2nd/3rd degree friends to the company already so they resorted to such gimmicks to get ppl down.
ask u to sign some documents claiming it to be attendence sheet - this is rubbish..it shows that u are willing to take part in their "No Purchase Based Transaction Recruitment"..that's why they ask you to sign it..correct it if i'm wrong about this, since they don't ask people to buy..forever asking people for recruitment over sales..than when people agree with their views, than the person(agent) will start to learn the sales pulling in customers / cry beg tatics etc...
sign due to pity her = you're a fool to do so..what if next time ur long lost fren ask you to sign some mortgage documents of your own home/car in future to repay your friend's debts how? it doesn't pay to be kind 90% true in society..
compulsory for u to start the business - goes to show that the last document which you sign previously was something which they already had in mind to force you to go through their standard negative education of sales.
if you want to report them, make sure you have a record of the whole ordeal, and make photocopies of what you have sign..else you can't do anythign to them, since i think they are certified ba..if i didn't remember wrongly la..

some greedy agents just don't change their lucks..which is good news to us customers.

The VE agent that was involved, denied such incident of ever happening...
TS, we need more info to take action against the person if she DID do you wrong... Please do not be alarmed, no one can force you to join VE, even by contract regardless of your age...

well... in the MOM law, when u sign a contract under 21, the company cant sue u for breaking the contract unless your parents sign for u then u dun work,,, they get sued...
