airswimming seriously i agree with what u said..but from what i know which i actually overheard coslab ppl says that they are actually using those people's money to open a beauty centre(forget the actual term)..and as for the gaurenteed 200+ sgd per mth,it is the mthly income of all tis beauty centre..but i was tinking since there is already so many successful beauty centre like jean yip,i was wondering if their plans actually work coz it is quite stupid to challenge those that are already famous..any1 can give me details bout tis??but again,can mlm do investments?tis is the so called "law" part which i dun understand..need every1's help..Originally posted by AirSwimming:I would also want to know where would they get the money to pay the investors.

its true that i heard it from coslab ppl but i wont say its 100% true coz after all i overheard it..but again its quite possible coz coslab has been dealing with beauty stuff all along..and about ur fren..all i can say is good luck to him..i have frens that is already in it but well..wat can i say?all i can say is that lets hope CAD will look into tis and hopefully save our fren from falling deeper..

Coslab is not dealing with any investment, they r giving rebates back to their customers whom had purchased beauty,spa,slimming etc products before. Instead of spending the profits on TV advertising which most of the big players are doing, Coslab rebate the profits back to the customers to make them happy,they will in turn recommend more friends to Coslab...imo this is a very good concept! Its not like some money game,ponzi etc as they have a cap to the number of customers signing the package for example: a cap of only up to 500 packages can be sold in a mth.
fyi this project have a ending date,unlike money game & ponzi where its endless...Coslab will stop this project on Oct 2009,its stated in the contract.

The rebates doesn't add up to give u a profits end of the day fyi. Its not like you put in $5000 then get back $10000.
Its more like u purchase the package for $5000,enjoy all the product & services,then get rebates of maybe $1000,just a token to say thank you for being our customer.
There's no such things as no need to do anything yet earn $$$,maybe if you are lucky to strike ToTo

i dunno..but somehow i will say u are defending..anyway i have been to the coslab..heard the whole ting..overheard some agents saying about the setting up of beauty and cosmetic parlour so i dunno..but i will say how are coslab gonna compete with already famous mary chia and jean yip?i prefer u get the whole entire picture and also facts before u come out to defend yourself..thx..

ya..but i was tinking since there are so many brands out there that can outshadow coslab what makes ppl tink that coslab is somewhere ppl can succeed??brands like fancl(didnt noe if i spelled it correctly),olay all are famous products..so..i dunno..its not very appealing imo..

Balance price and quality. First look at quality, is it good? Generally speaking more famous brands have a higher standard. And reputation. Why the "good reputation"? Is it because it has a long history? Good quality (from outside sources, not coslab agents or coslab reports)? Marketing (even tho u've got a lousy product but fantastic marketing u have high sales). -

With so many scam cases happening recently(put $$ take $$ without doing anything) I understand the public will show their concern. I'm not trying to defend Coslab but Coslab itself is really a 20+years traditional biz with 6 branches & 20+ franchisee all over the island.
They are just using the mlm platform to promote their product & services yet being bombarded by people due to some "blacksheep"in the market. Mlm often get associated with "Get Rich fast" system & in fact its really a very gd way of distribution if do it the right way,taking into consideration that agents don't have to pay expensive rental & franchisee fee yet being able to profits by selling the products to their friends.
Yes you will get rich ONLY if you are hardworking & focus plus work smart,not by just putting in $$ & wait for it to grow,it will never happen.

hey kid...i'd suggest you to use your 5k on meaningful things. It's not possible to get $200 a month for a $5000 investment.
Your friend isn't great too...Probably he'll earn some commission by getting you to join him.As far as i know, the majority will not make money in a MLM.

also just happen that recently i have join coslab on their investment scheme,is it true that they opening beatuy salon by using our money and also are the monthly rebates guarantee.Cause by seeing the statments here make i starting to get afriad there i will not get back my money???
So i think that i should pull out of it asap, cause i don't want to be trapped in something that bluff and cheat someone else money.Money is not easy to earn, i will join because i trust my friend who intro me into it, now i think i cannot trust him anymore.He is a cheater

i understand what you mean,my friend,i truly understand why people like you will say like this.Why will i have this kind of thought is because i'm not happy about the way how they are doing,the way they are doing it are somehow cheating people into it and i have told my friend who had intro me into coslab that i won't to withdraw, but is scared that i cannot take any money back.
I'm very scared about this point,because money is not easy to earn(like in my previous post).But i think that it is the end of my hard earned money...

i dunno but i am still quite new about mlm so i cannot give u 100% advice but like what u say money is not easy to earn..using your money in the right time on the right tings is very important..and i feel that if there are consumers who felt cheated,such companies are definitely not very reliable and have to consider twice before making any impt decisions to get involve in the company..

MLM seriously for ppl good at scamming ppl.
I can tell u one of my friends joined and invested some money but till now he didn';t even make a cent. So wat is he doing now? Trying hard to get ppl in, and in a v desperate way

Few days ago my sec friends got another bunch of my friends to join them and they did. They say brother together, gether larh!! then I tiam tiam nothing to say. I really don't want to offend them and I can't do anything.......
Hope someone can give me good advices please... I really need it. For Coslab may be the company which F our relationships upside and backside down
