I agree that not everyone is suitable in this 'business' but they would always try to recruit anyone just to make their money without caring if that person is interested or suitable in this 'business'.
There are other ways to make money than to be in this industry and get condem by friends and relatives.
The thing is, so what if you had a bad experience or someone who knows about it, do you actually understand how it works from the inside out? Unless you do before then you understand but also depending on which company you were in, just because of one bad company you say that the whole industry is no good, is that logical? What about china's milk, now the whole world must say china no good, stop going china, don't do business which china all this?? You get what i mean?
I'm not telling you go and love this industry but at least get your facts right.
The rumor all you people like to spread is that mlm is bad and is a scam, understand the whole thing then talk alright. There are the people who recruit others in, but why the recruited do not earned? It's because the upline is not a proper teacher to show the downline the proper way to conduct the business.
The thing about mlmers going about recruiting everyone is because they just want to try asking if people would be interested in the compensation plan and promote the products, if you open your own business, don't tell me you open shop and not promote your products at all, of course you will tell everyone about what you have that can benefit them.
Need any more clarifications?
bet they'll show you the car he/she is driving too...

What is important is that little or no capital is involved.. meaning no money lost.. and nothing is earned from recruiting.
The mindset is important too... have to understand the whole business and how it can help people and to self-develop oneself to be a better person and to make more friends.. ultimately thats how a gd businessman shld be.. to care for others....
If you look around, there are indeed some positive and serious companies with non-overpriced products and a gd education and business system to simply help others at minimal or no cost.
So never condemn the industry just because of a few black sheeps :D
can you name 1 of those companies?

I would like to name my company, but there is a policy that i cant post anything about my company on the net, the only hint i can give about my company is that it deals mainly with a facial bar. Overall the company is good but inside my company there is a person that speaks very badly, hope she doesnt cause a bad reputation to the company.

it does not matter what he is doing, the main thing is that pyramid is not the same as MLM. Pyramid is illegal but mlm is reconisge by the gov. GOV can you say cannot. You understand ?
Actually, it does matter what product an MLM sells... It's one of the things that makes or breaks a company... There was once an MLM that sells kettle... obviously it doesn't last long...

didn't last long? i heard that amway sell household products, look at where they are now. haha no offence, just want people to do actual research and have proper facts before saying alright.
amway.. household still ok . but the thing is that company benefit but ppl selling there is no market. as alot of ppl is using or selling already.
And Singapore is their last stop. no way to go into global. no longer pioneer.

no I dun ,most people can see for themselves with the sunshine empire example. From what I know majority are scams so the rumors were justified.

Why not?
Because it's very hard to explain?
I think the best way to understand it is to do research..
This website explains quite clearly what should a proper and ethical mlm business and what the whole industry is all about..
http://www.firstclassmlm.com
It's better than letting those black sheeps spoil a great business model :)
Wootz!! more and more people standing out for mlm.. in it's really cool..
hmmm.. someone asked.. but i'm not from imuone.. although i was quite tempted to join a while back frm the information i got.. but im working on something with a better propect
err
*looks around*
you and what army?
how many time must we say than you understand ?
Sunshine empire is about money game. It's not MLM.
That is why they close up what. there is only money game.
aiyah
Company A say they are true MLM not pyramids, Company B say Company A is pyramid and money game, Agent C will say they themselves are not MLM but network marketing company, Boss D will say A, B and C are blah blah
and the song goes on
the best thing to do is properly research the industry yourself, if you only want to distrust everything, you are really missing out on an opportunity, i wouldnt want to say which is the best but there are really good companies out in sg that can really train you in personal development and while learning, you make money along the way
lets go professional soccer betting... sure beats the 97% chance...
haha, but how many become rich through betting, and after 3-5 yrs they lose all their money, why? cause they dont know how to make money work for themselves
how many gain money through MLM anyway? pfft
the same percentage as businesses that become successful, find that out yourself ok, only when you see hard facts then will you see the shift in paradigm
so what's the percentage? where can i get the facts and figures?
or there is actually none in existence?
