Originally posted by stopthescam:Hi I am a victim of the scam from Hong Kong. Just want to say here that Hong Kong Business Pages is suing some victims through the Small Claim Tribunal. How dare they bring the matter to court regardless of their wrongdoings, and even worse they are using our government money to go against innocent small business employers/es who misforunately fell for their well-set trap! It is intolerable but sadly they are still in business! The number of victims is increasing over time and I sincerely hope the government can step in and save us victims!
It takes only a USD quarter for them to buy a stamp and mail out the tricy "contract", yet it costs a victim USD 2,500 for cancellation fee here! What a profit margin and of course those fookers are not going to give up!
So victims please do your part and not to give in to the scammers! Every penny you give them encourages their dirty business and causes more innocent people to suffer.
Please keep me posted on any news regarding this scam in Singapore.
Thx

In addition the Issued & Paid-Up Capital is only S$1,000. Very clever of them. If they get a civil suit and lose they go bankrupt as creditors can only recover S$1,000.Originally posted by scarborough:Yes, there are a few details for you:

I saw the German guy in court last time. I think they fly around countries to take care of their dirty business. I wonder why our government would grant them a work visa. Maybe the scammers' own countries have been taken over by more professonal conman in the filed and they have to flee to other countries searching for hot cash.
The same scam has been banned in Australia, and people in America like suing each other too much! And that's why the scammer is now targeting traditional Asian community as their thought we were likely to pay to resolve the issue. But they are so WRONG! We Asian are fair people who appreciate justice! It is a matter of time those assholes get kicked out of our countries and prosecuted in their own!!!
