NM can work... it happens daily in our life....
I pump CALTEX Platinum and mileage is good so u will tell ur friends and ur friends will try...
I buy Car cheap at a PI and i will intro... for those who knows u might get referral comm... u can choose not to take but it does not reduce the car price... same goes for Agent Importers...
I eat at a hawker with lots of good food i will intro to my friends....
I got good service from Property Agent will intro and also get referral fee.. i still can choose not to take but it will not affect the selling price.
Its happening daily.... thats what we call referral
Now we talk abt network....
Everyone got lobang... like where to makan, where to cheong and where to find gals and where to buy wat at good price..... its network...
EG: My friend ask me where to buy MontBlanc pen thats good price, i will intro ABC watch shop and my friend will go there worst case he dunno how to go i will bring him there and close the deal... he will then intro if his firned wana buy if not he will also tell his friend and his friends will get another lobang and can share it with more ppl
So when i was a car dealer/broker i also gota network... make more friends and tell them wat i doing.... even ask my friends if wana buy car let me know i can get for them... same will happen if i sell furniture, sell house, insurance, watches, TV, HiFi, Jewellery, catering, Spa, anything under the sun unless its industrial items... if consumer items/service, u will surely want ur friends to support you and refer customers to you.... If industrial items/service u will get ur peers or working contact to intro contacts to you....
So.... think abt it..... u muz always reflect abt it....
So i am working for my Boss and with my contacts/network ... i will slog and my boss becomes successful make money where i still make 3k-4k plus????
Think abt it... juz imagine u got all these lobangs urslef u can work for urself and get business.... so isnt it Network Marketing???

1st of all i would like to say many mlm companys WANTS YOU to buy their products(overpriced) 1st as a headstart, so u get promoted or what. however, in your daily lives, you buy food, petrol, and other luxury stuff at your expense without some1 on top of u eatting your money.
yes i agree it may work if those unethical methods are gone. so til then im against it. -

i buy house from my friend... n refer customer to him... so when i deal with him... he is sucking my money... and his boss is sucking his money.... same goes wif my friend who deals wif him.
well then again when i start a business, i used to do CCTV business and my office dun actually need becos we got security guards dwnstairs... but then i also spent 1K plus install the system... so that my prospect/customer will be convinced...
i agree that most MLM will need you to buy a startup package.... same la... when i start my CCTV my supplier also ask me to install although not mandatory but i wont even know how the system works if i dun own 1....
i used to work with Panasonic dealer, the office is using Panasonic system, they cant use toshiba rite coz we as salesman must know the functions of the product.... NOTE: i am saying i am salesman, worker.... the boss must spend money to make money....
Like i say, when i selling cars.... i got tons of referral some buy some wont so wat as long as the network is there, i will got chance.... i also pay my freinds who refer comm... i am doing MLM??? answer is YES!!!! best part 1st broker refer the car to me its 38500, when i wanna make its 39500, lastly to the last broker its 40800 and finally to the buyer...this is broker style... we buy in car at 40000, selling at 44800, i earn 500 when i sell but referral got 500 car price remain.... simple???
When u find a PUB got alot of gals and happening, u will share wif your friend, but if u only hear say.... when u share u will be a bit reluctant as u have not seen, tried and never go b4.... so if u ever been there done that u share with enthusiasm and passion... u will convince ppl as u tried... on the opposite, if u go to a PUB that sucks, u will also share and convince ppl not to go....
I am not saying that MLM will affect ur life but its happening in our life everyday.... its that simple....
I agree some pdts MLM sell is overpriced... but not all lor.... Pdt sold at $100 cost only $10 rest $90 will be paidout to agents, but some company choose to pay only 30-40% of the profit to agent... but some will rather pay 85-90% to agents left 10% for company as company is looking at volume and not just 1 sale....
when i do CCTV i also overpriced... supplier to me $100 i sell customer $200 but salesman only get 20% of profit bcos i got overhead to cover like salary and stuffs...bcos he only worker, now this is just to let u know as worker u can never ask for higher comm cos u paid salary... only business owners can get the bullk but again muz bear overhead... think abt it... if no overhead can i say u sure make and wont lose money??? i use to bear 20K overhead last time but business is bad so i wound up after 1 year.... i got business but juz cant make enuff for myself only enuff to settle overhead....
MLM = Business w/o overheads.... nothing to lose... only lose time.... i agree the startup cost but if its ur own business u also gota dump in at least 30K for a business....some MLM ask u to put 8K/10K/16K its too big a risk as i never believe in stocking up.... i believe in using the product and then share with ppl... and buy as and when necessary... if a company ask to buy up position u gota be careful such company is confirm scam....

well i read oredi... and nope i am not shaking a bit... for LAMERS out there i am not worshipping any Boss i am juz looking at the business.... in 1 article it says why MLM pdt is not sold the traditional way ... i am lucky to say my Pdt is sold in Guardian and GNC and do alot of TV/ Mag/ Newspaper Ad..... so i guess its like Marlboro Ciggies doing MLM will u be part of it???? AVG, I've not read thru most of ur posts yet, cos' I haf to slp soon fer a long day of sch tml. But I haf tis to comment on. Ur analogies of 'discovering lobang, and asking ur frenz to join u in tis lobang' are kinda warped.
I'm not sure fer most of the MLM companies, but fer sure I encountered tis at VE and Enyouth. The agents keep boasting abt the products' usefulness, but when I asked them whether they use it fer themselves, they say 'no', they trust the products and the bosses who explained the products to them.
How is it a 'good lobang' when u've not tried it yet? Obviously u're juz eyeing the possibility of clinching a sales or psychoing another person to join MLM. Unless u consistently use ur company's products and be a living testimony of 'practising wad u preach', I'll not be impressed.
And no matter wad u say abt manager helping u out, so u help out ur manager by giving him a huge chunk of ur commission, I'm still quite buay song abt the fact tt I'll haf to slog so hard n tt manager, w/o doing anything, get $$$. Wth?
U say it's oso true in the norm business world. 9-5 slog so hard, boss still earns the most. But then again, in unbiased companies, there's such thing as bonuses and pay increments. And most importantly, the norm business manager is still doing sth, but the MLM 'manager' does not. He juz shakes leg and pop by once in awhile to show face, and noes he still has the ability to rake in income cos' of stupid MLMers like u. Tt's a serious ethical flaw in MLM. A manager should further the advancement of the company, instead of relying on his subordinates to do all the work. -

so i suppose now the wellness/slimming mkt is huge from the ads on TV and newspapers .... and it will never affect me if i am not part of it.... best part when i slim down 2 size for my jeans and my wife lost 5kg.... peers just want to be the same... some will wana refer some wont as they juz wana sim down thats all.... so they buy my package not only for money making by referral but also they get back their figure....
Imagine my wife go Expressions and lost 5kg, peers saw and she intro... wat she gets???? well in actual fact whether she intro or not price is the same... get the point??
In MLM pdt is important and company background also important.... best if got celebrity ambassador.... think abt it... if President or MM Lee says he drinks Yakult thats why he look so radiant.... u think ppl will accept??? More often than not ... ppl will trust more....

Well in traditional company u get pay increment very true.... but can u decide ur own paycheck??? No way u can get the power of leveragin ....only the boss can leverage on ppl like us salesppl.... 1 person 24Hrs he buys 24 X 10salesppl
he gets 240Hrs on his business.... he makes the most.... its not fair also but thats life.... 20%bosssess 80%workers....
Some MLM i agree ppl on top free then show face.... u also making money for him.... my boss same i seldom see him but i am sure after paying me the salary he still make.... but when i dun make "enuff" for him, i tio screw... MLM is i dun make $$ is my problem... no one can decide my fate i decide myself.... u can buay song ppl make ur money but when u work.... u know wat u sell ur immediate Mgr overides the comm???? well in my MLM company... my head keep planning for me to make money so wat if he makes my money i dun care.... if he make my money and i dun make money then got problem....
So far i am happy wif parttime MLM.... work as per normal... making $800 in MLM monthly with 3-4Hrs evening 4-5 days a week i find that its ok.... and best part i dun even need to sell as i got real life testimonial..... so ppl want to sign up....
Nowadays company are getting ppl to refer friends and relatives to join and once the introed person gets confirmed the introducer gets 300-500.... to get confirm for sales is that he made enuff for the boss not sure for admin as the theory of leveraging applies so he gets confirm then the confirm staff also wants 300-500 he will intro ppl in... CISCO is practising... is it MLM??? i do nothing to help the person to confirm and will try to keep him if he thinks of leaving but he will have to slog it out himself and he gets confirmed i gets extra moni....
Its happening everywhere.... ADT security system has a $50 referral scheme a sign up applicant refer successful deal gets $50 MLM??? Citibank once doing the car re-financing... intro a friend and get $50... MLM???
The fact is its happening ard us... but seems like no one complains leh.... U wanna say PV system.... well... i earn points by pumping petrol lor and buy stuff with my capitalcard gets cash back... refer a friend and get vouchers.... bring 3 friends to eat at a certain restaurant pay by my card i get free.... Dine 4 free 1.... MLM Network whatever...................

Network Marketing can work..
But being in the right company is impt..
The products should be well-known, consumable and world-class and reasonably priced or cheaper than outside..and everybody shld be able to afford it..
And also, just be sincere, honest and ethical and don't hide anything..
Trust is very impt in being in this business.. that's how the business will be long-lasting and stable
