Why all the killing?

top ten listed companies in states...three are from MLM.
handfull of american billionare from MLM...

MLM either u make it or u dont! so dont blame anyone if u dont.

singaporeans sore lossers....miser....coward...and lazy humans..

All MLM company can help change life in a better way if u are hardworking..
so why all the killing when u are lazy, sits and wait for money to fall, cannot afford to loose...dont have an open mind about new ideas in life..

stop the killing is getting pointless..
stop being jealous if someone idea is better than yours...(go think a better one)
dont wait for money...MLM dont give u money it gives u opptunity.

you are doing quite a poor job of defending MLM

only three? who are they? why seven are not MLM? of top 100, how many are MLM? in what way this mean MLM is strong or good to do? so Wal Mart and US Steel top the list i should start going into discount retailing or steel industry? a handful of billionaires? who are they? MLM business owners or distributors?

what i dont like is people taking a simply few figures which really dont mean a piss thing and trying to extrapolate a whole lot of implications from there

you have better chances convincing people about your company (if its successful) than trying to convince people about the industry

to top it off, u have to resort to calling names, so what makes you different from the people you are addressing this issue to?

the killer ending move is about some philosophical wishy washy stuff about laziness and waiting for money to fall..can you make your points short, sweet and to the point?

No offence, but erm, if you are sincere in getting others to listen to you, than you have to at least respect the people who are reading and posting in this forum.

i've come to the following thoughts on the company education that you've being going through; either you did, or you just do it your own way.

1 - you're a racist

2 - you've got coloured glasses - looking down on Local and Neighbouring Asian MLM companies is it?

3 - you only favour the US mlm or other nationalities (westen)' mlm

4 - the attention that you're getting now, is something that others will cast a negative image on you, since the remarks that you gave are PURELY biased (No Doubt)

5 - you're only killing yourself when it comes to trying to at least let people Open Up, instead, whatever you said as per above, only increase and deepen the stigma of people have in MLM in Singapore = more negativity with the post that you've posted

If you don't know the reasons why Singapore are rather closed up to mlm, than kindly go back to your company or do some research/homework to know what happen years* ago before you make any BIASED Comments.

just by you saying 'Stop all the killing' will not lead the people anywhere closer to where you want US (the majority who are skeptical to mlm) to where you want us to be (open to mlm) if you don't understand what has happened in the past.

at least HT is making his point noted in a neutral forum.

whatever the figure HT is quoting in the "top 10". even if its just 1.
or even 1 in the top 50.
goes to show that the industry has some merits. no matter minor or major.

the point to note is that no normal individual like you & us will be able to start a company today, and get it to that level of revenue success.
probably not 1 in 100 random citizens plucked off the local streets will be able to do anything with his/her abilities if we ask him to "start a business" -- it is simply because of the culture and mode of education we've received all through the years.

so why bother to counter-compare with steel giants and other conglomerates?
these other corporations are not acheivable by the common layman.

that said, we're also not asking any of the forumers to start an mlm company.
what we're saying is that network marketing... "allows" an intended small-time business person... to do something from not-too-overburdening business costs.
to plug into a system which has some measure of organisation & success.

at the least it is an "entry point" for entrepreneurs to explore private business... though (admittedly) quite tough in the local market due to every tom, dick & harry china/taiwan/malaysian/american company (including local companies) setting up shop in town to use Sg as the "hub".
nonetheless, the tough-minded prevail. just like in anything we do -- school, work, etc.

unfortunately, because of the "ease" of entry into a "personal business" that in turn produces many amateur "business owners".

however, those who are able to find the right mentors, and study the right systems/books might experience some sort of success in his/her own light.
those who do not, simply end up like what we know and hear of all the time -- the job "recruiters" and what-have-yous.

this is part and parcel of any industry.
unfortunately in an industry with many amateurs, a higher % of whatever good/bad is prevalent .

we admit we have been cheesed off by the bad rep of the industry on the whole (in this market). thus the negative remarks about negative marketing tactics on the whole <-- i.e. in general.
our remarks only appear in company-specific because there aren't too many general threads here.
and anyway, the multitude of replies and discussions going on within these companies' threads goes to show the prevalent impressions of the respective companies that go on.
nonetheless, it is refreshing to hear some eloquent credible individuals who testify to positive experiences in bad-rep companies.

err, reading through your post i am not sure if you are replying to my post

i dont think TS is refering at all as to the capability of individuals to start a business

of course we could go say being the top 10 merit some strengths, but i believe its more of strength of the business owners, management and also other factors, not wholly that of just being in an MLM business

which is exactly why i said it would be more useful to point out the merits of an individual company than the whole industry

using such simple figures is superbly misleading especially about that of the MLM industry, as you can see TS is merely ranting on MLM business, rather than a company itself

i had already defended before why it is unfair to compare Wal Mart and Amway in rancem's topic before, and it come as a shock an MLMer would start saying three out of top ten are MLM companies, because he is stabbing his own foot by starting a 'number comparison', when the anti MLMers already are asking why Amway isnt the top of the list

hence i asked if TS wishes us to go into the steel or discount retailing industry, and if not, dont start the ball rolling for such nonsense
