This will remind those in this forum who are working/intending to work in a MLM company the consequences to failing to comply wif the rules n regulation stated above.
The Commercial Affairs Department (CAD) investigates pyramid selling schemes. If you suspect a scheme has contravened the MLM Act, you can report to the CAD at telephone number 3250000 or lodge a report at 391 New Bridge Road, #06-701 Block D, Police Cantonment Complex, Singapore 088762.

issue is never about knowing, but how to intepret that act, which is tricky as heck -

basically it says that all companies with a multi-level reward structure (including insurance companies) need to deal with real-life products.
commissions can be generated only when products are bought.
also, there is 60 days for consumers to get their refunds from companies they join.
also, participants of schemes which fall outside the cover of the MLM exclusion order... are liable for prosecution themselves.
(watch out all you swisscash account holders ) -

at the most it is a loophole with the internet.
if the authorities want to stop it in any way they can.
it's the people's choice for being a part of the money-game pseudo-mlm until the site is blocked from access.
then how are you going to make your trasactions, continue your marketing, and withdraw your "earnings" is going to be a big wonder. -

lol talking about swiss cash. my ssg in camp who is about to ord (contract end) showed us his account.
initial investment: 10k usd
current returns: 59k usd

it did seem like you were making a statement with all the justification made about swisscash being foreign to singapore, thus unprosecuteable.

thanks for the highlight on my sig. been highlighted before so its cool.
sgforums has remained a very spam-free board with spam posts cleared up pretty quickly.
after all we believe the sig allowing 1 or 2 lines helps minimise spam because spammers can be happy to stay "within limits".
anyway you've seen us post here for the past month now with absolutely no spam/blatent advertising, so we're safe forum users. don't sweat it.
perhaps putting a 1-liner with your sig will help clear any lust-like misunderstandings.
