boi: there is simply no point explaining the ins & outs of products.
all:
singaporeans are fairly well-educated but totally
unintelligent at the same time.
are you, reader, one of them we talk about?
you, reader, are surely one of those that once you hear "mlm" tied to a product, all
prejudices get conjured up...
and usually you'd dare not touch the product or hear more about it lest you get infected with a "disease".
(btw if you see the price prejudice we denounced above, the industry has changed now)
in our opinion... it's really a disease called "bo ji".
because... what if we say
The Body Shop has a mlm / network marketing subsidiary??
are singaporeans going to boycott such a global brand??
perhaps so!
(check out The Body Shop @ Home)
these prejudices come about from various "intelligent" deductions drawn from a decade worth of bombardment from the local setups employing negative sales tactics.
the
kiasu culture amplifies the negativity of it all.
but we're saying these negative conclusions cannot &
should not be drawn from people employing certain sales tactics in the past alone.
being
educated people, we should be evaluating companies with a
"big picture" approach instead of taking the prejudiced approach.
alas, singaporeans' closed minds are clearly manifested.
likewise about singapore as a country as a whole:
we are supposedly multi-cultural, multi-racial. but are we devoid of cultural/racial prejudices.
we think not!!Singaporeans: you are well educated, you are well spoken (umm... mostly
), but are you truly open-minded?
if not,
it is time to let your guard down & start being so.bring up your guard again
after you speak to a promoter, & apply your education in researching & evaluating what you've learnt in a logical / academic manner.
if you see something positive, know that it is specific to that individual / company and may not be a feature in others.
likewise, if you see something negative, know that it applies to the individual / company alone and not all others.
PS.
don't be mistaken... we're not promoting Amway the company.
it is a great company with great products (if one takes the time to learn about it)...
however it's
reward system is real tough with many complicated requirements that do not suit one's part-time efforts.
and all effort will go to waste.
readers should take your time to compare across the board before deciding which company fits the true dynamics of network marketing.
(i.e. 90% network marketing promoters are part-timers who cannot meet complicated bonuses / high monthly targets. be it in Vietnam, in Singapore, in USA, in Malaysia, everywhere!)
