Glucosamine is for joints, etc, however it works best when combine with chondroitin and MSM. You wun feel any effect in the short term (1-2 months). I'm taking 1500mg per day for 6 months, then stop for 3mth or so then take again.
Body absorbs glucosamine best when there is sufficient vit D (like absorbing calcium), meaning its best if you go for some natural sun tanning, say 3 times a week 15 minutes each.

Yup. In the area of joints and cartilage and bones, 1-2 months is a very short term. Runners take glucosamine for long duration like 9 months before stopping for a while. Most wun even feel much effect, if there is really a "feel-able" effect.Originally posted by the_fallen:you call short term 1-2 months?
that aren't short to me.
over a month with no effect is already a waste of money already.
u have any suggestion which can be used as a replacement for this glucosamine?

In bone fracture, the bone tissue have to joint back to some norishing tissue within 8-12 hours else the bone tissue will be dead, AND we wun know only until after a year or so when MRI scans discover the particular bone tissue isn't growing in relation to those around it.
And, on top of that, heavy meat eating causes joints to degenerate faster relatively compare to a less meat eating person, as meat contains some acids that is counterproductive to bone tissue regeneration.
To answer your last question: Nope. There's no replacement better than glucosamie. Glucosamie comes it different forms "Sulphate", "tabs" and liquid. Tabs is the most common. Sulphate are like powder, u dissolve it into water before gurping it down. Liquid forms are hard and expensive to get. They dun have a long shelf life, although they are the easiest for the body to absorb.
