hmm, new company in singapore...Originally posted by NekoRin:My parents are currently very involved in a mlm company selling grandsun spa products? Anyone has any information regarding this company?
tink it costs more...Originally posted by bangkokboy:Hi guys,
I was there around August last year. Their operations seemed similar to Belair, in fact they have similar greeting method.
Ok regarding the product, it is really quite good, they even give you a try. However do note that they will try to push for the distributorship, which costs around 10k+ if I am not wrong. Not that I am against Grand Sun, but I do feel that all MLM companies should not encourage distributorship as it stinks of pyramid companies.

Which is kinda crazy if you ask me... do they have an option where they let you start slow or they push for the distributorship?Originally posted by LegacyMan:Its 16k for i think 8 set of the spa to start up.
16k to start a mlm business is complete bull IMHO. All in the MLM industry can tell you that... if they really push for $16k only, it reeks of pyramid scams.Originally posted by Captain ^-^:16k to start a sound good, where is the office?Saw some acticle on belair are they related?
can u ask your friend to bring me down to the company to take a look?Originally posted by bangkokboy:Hi guys,

I also noticed many coupons that the distributors give out to new friends. Not sure if a distributor needs to buy them, but it might be an indication of hidden costs for the new distributors.

Mmh sure, but I think he is not in the company already. Now still in Bangkok so difficult to coordinate with him. I think I still have his upline's contact number. Will go search for it and PM you.Originally posted by the_fallen:can u ask your friend to bring me down to the company to take a look?
i wanna know more about this company.
Seriously a true mlm doesn't need to push for front-loading/investment schemes.Originally posted by bangkokboy:16k to start a mlm business is complete bull IMHO. All in the MLM industry can tell you that... if they really push for $16k only, it reeks of pyramid scams.
OMG. What they are doing is buying themselves up. However it will be very difficult to convince them otherwise... they will dismiss your claims as nonsense as they are now convinced that only Grand Sun can give them the financial freedom...Originally posted by NekoRin:..... haiz
I just saw something shocking..... my mum and dad bought over 40sets of the spa equipment.....totalling 100k worth. And they refused to acknowledge that they are stockpiling
are they insane!?Originally posted by NekoRin:..... haiz

What can be done? We need suggestions FAST!
Yes they are very defensive whenever I talk about this with them. They say everything I said is not constructive at all, if I want to help them, join them and help sell the productsOriginally posted by bangkokboy:Mmh not really insane, but brainwashed... were they very defensive?
Many people don't realise it is a scam. In your parent's case I have strong reasons to believe that they have had some small successes to make them so committed to the company.Originally posted by NekoRin:Yes they are very defensive whenever I talk about this with them. dun tink got refunds de...the top management wans to earn oso...and dats how they earn, by getting the ppl under them to buy more and moreOriginally posted by bangkokboy:Many people don't realise it is a scam. However do not say that they were tricked, they will not accept that. I think it will be better if you explain to them that buying in bulk does not equate to success... (but MLM companies offer special discounts when you buy in bulk... evilness).
But seriously, I was like them before, so I understand how defensive they are... in fact I don't know what you must do too, as even my gf couldn't convince me back then... it took a good friend (of many years) to drill the fact into my head...
Do check when they bought the sets. Perhaps you can plan your steps based on how much time is left... (but I have strong doubts about a full refund)
