Really, D_Teo. Your actions meant to tell everyone that investors like you are just blind people. Blindly immersed in investments and flood your brains with nothing but money, and NO MANNERS.
Regarding point 2, we did bring this up to the authorities regarding previous projects, however when you sign on the dotted line, you are hence regarded as an investor. With investments comes the risk of the company going ka-put.Originally posted by raitoh2007:Hi all,
ive been following the various threads on forums regarding Emcom. ive personally been investing in the stock market and i know that theres no such thing as a free lunch. 800% ROI sounds tempting and i would park some of my assets in Emcom if it sits right with me.
Propaganda is being used to harvest the cash cows in scams, people work on greed, esp youngsters who lack clarity. Basic knowledge about investments? Kids have none & only look up to the money that they can/ have been earning. Kids looking for their first job, or part-time jobs are lured into these schemes. Maybe they earn lotsa $$, but have they ever considered about the viability of the biz?
Anwy, i dont really understand the purpose of all these threads as noone is willing to step forward or do anything about it..
1. As members you dont want the public to view u as partners in a scam, which is illegal fyi if ure a willing participant in sumting that u alrdy know is a scam.. Best solution is to appeal to the mgt to shed some light on their revenue, cashflow, COMPLETE hierachy of the whole of NTI/Sunshine/EmpireGrp (who comes under who, and what will be coming under who in the future)and legally approved investor remedies?
Afterall, these are some things that the public would look out for..
2. For those sharing their understanding on why this is a scam, why not take it to the authorities since u strongly believe it is to be one? Shouldn't we as citizens, be more focused in ensuring that corporate fraud faces repurcussions?
I am in the sales line and i empathise with those who get their companies labelled as scams.. It means that our strong belief is being threatened, thus its human nature to get defensive about it..
BUT, instead of channeling anger into defense, why not be more constructive and channel it into proof?
I want to know more about Emcom, as i want to try my hand at investing in sumting riskier.. Is there anyone who can convince the crowd instead of one who hurls vulgarities and making yr company look like a bunch of illiterate, uncouth kids or even worse.. an ah beng?
They claim to have a 150% guarantee on investment on their contract. Does that mean anything under the eyes of the law? provided theres any entity regulating them of course..Originally posted by bangkokboy:Regarding point 2, we did bring this up to the authorities regarding previous projects, however when you sign on the dotted line, you are hence regarded as an investor. Using various loopsholes, they are able to pass off their products as legal. Do run a quick search on ponzi schemes and pyramid schemes. They will explain why the authorities cannot do much except to warn people about such schemes.
huh?Originally posted by MLM Victim:Latest News!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I just joined this country club, situated in Seletar camp at Jalan Kayu.
Before I paid my membership fees and 6-month subscription fees in advance, the management promised all facilities would be ready by end Sept, 2004. The membership and subscription fees took effect from 1st October, 2004. But till today only the gym is ready.
Everything still half way through. Worst still , although the gym is ready, but almost
all the gym equipment are very very old, some are not even servicable.
The management just couldn't careless because gym is the section which is not generating income for the management. It is really very unfair to the members. Just can't imagine new club with so worn out equipment. Really cannot understand the mentality of the management of this club.
Now want to back out but how to do it? Any advice? Thanks.

Some so-called country clubs are really built and operate on low budgets. Buyers should check out the facilities first. Singapore is not going to have many rich people in future to enjoy these expensive clubs.

Consider looking up other members of this cuntry club to take a class-action suit. That will wake the management up real quick.

There will probably be a clause prohibiting you from resigning....
ForgetMeNot
Guess their model of attracting mainly HDB dwellers to this club with low entry fee, did not work well.
With all those hidden clauses add in, it is difficult to get your money back.
