No worries, Legacyman, at the end of this venture, I am sure you will learn more about setting up a company, running a company and managing a company. Read up a bit on proper Corporate Governance, the Company Act, Business laws in Singapore and you will know how to monitor a Company in terms of Funds and Assets management. Take this as a good opportunity to improve yourself and you will be able to get maximum benefits from it.Originally posted by LegacyMan:1) Ok if there's what you mean then Emcom have, sorry for my lack of knowledge for Companies.
In the RCB of Emcom we have, there is 4 names in it. A secretary and 3 directors. Is there what you are refering ?
2) I do agree with your points that we should know where the money goes, but as i say the company is not prepare to give us their finanical report. Mainly because its a pte company too.
Thats why i always say, if you believe you join, if not better don't. Anyway they do tell us where the money goes to, but thats verbally not black and white.
Anyway when u buy a equalilty you also dunno where the fund manager invest it in. You only know its on certain countries and maybe certain company only. And of cos high risk equal to high return.
Anyway here's the link to Emcom's Corporate Blog. Its currently using blogspot, it has latest news of Emcom development. Those interested to know more can read in it.

wow... cool thats something new for me to knowOriginally posted by jonzibonzi:Laurence just shut up lah, go read what you posted, almost no logic, mostly emotional rambling..
Anyway back to the topic, My friend told me, only a little more than half of the money we give will be used for the project, where the minor half is paid out as commision, he say the returns are supposed to be abt 20 times instead of 10 times, but because of the mark up, it is so called divided by 2,
SMART!
Tsk, you couldnt see that yours is nuthing more than personal flaming?Originally posted by jonzibonzi:Laurence just shut up lah, go read what you posted, almost no logic, mostly emotional rambling..

SameOriginally posted by NUS_Superst@r:Lau, you seem like so capable so why don't you just go down to their building at Shenton Way No.1 to know more about their joint partnership program instead of just trying to win some meaningless verbal war in this forum?
Get your facts right. We investors only get back 1000% of our investment or even lower according to which phase you are in and the money you get back is not just one shot give back. It is over a certain period. And one last thing, the forum is not the best place to do your investment research but at least, you can get an overview of what this emcom thing is about. Finally, if you are really keen, do go down to their office at Shenton Way No.1.Originally posted by Rustyhong:After reading half of the post, still back to my question why i never invested in it.
A return of 2000% which is 20 times.
40 million raise.
Means 800 million needed to return to the investor.
A Loan from the bank. Interest Rate will be definitely lower than 2000%.
Means loan 40 million no need to return as much as 800 million.
What for pay 800 million when you can pay less and earn more? (who will be in the right mind to say he have lots of money and want to share will others?)
My reasoning:
A back door to run if things ain't going smoothly which is highly possible.
There was this chap who already claimed only slightly more than half the capital is invested, while the minor half goes into this 'commission' which he had not yet explained.Originally posted by Rustyhong:After reading half of the post, still back to my question why i never invested in it.

Strangely, from three four years ago, it was claimed NTI was new, so therefore there was no proper literature on their schemes, or a proper website.Originally posted by NUS_Superst@r:Get your facts right. I think you make a mistake. I am just an investor, not an agent there. However, if anyone wants to know more, I can recommend you to my agent.Originally posted by laurence82:So meaning you shouldnt be here? You should be there answering questions..if you are really that busy
Seriously, if you are not an agent, you should not be making representations on behalf of your company here.Originally posted by NUS_Superst@r:I think you make a mistake. I am just an investor, not an agent there. However, if anyone wants to know more, I can recommend you to my agent.

And strangely, any ordinary investors dont really care a hoot since they are more concerned about earning money from the returns of their investments.
So what is your vested interest in defending the company here?

Good things must share and also, since this investment is in still in its early stage, I want to gather some of the views from other forumites.Originally posted by Rustyhong:But u seems like promoting rather than sharing.
