firstly; when you think that MLM is a field that you may want to understand more; you must understand that price is not crucial.
Why???
because when you involved in MLM; you are intend to create career or
in short; to do business ; NOT to be the sole consumer to its product.
so; price is not the problem.

By not giving a clear definition of your product, it shows you got something to hide. The product may be common and the price ridiculously high. It may have no proper application and may in fact harm users.
No names of the company is given which may mean it's a con job, like the infamous fly-by-night company "Giraffe World". -

i am just discussing about the core value of MLM.
so; i didn't mention of any company; cause this will seems
to create bias to other company.
as this industry involved; today's MLM companys
had matured over its policy; benefit; operation and reliability.
each company have their good and bad points.
what importants is to grasp the real value why MLM
is such a beautiful industry.
if you found certain company attract your attention;
you should go to the company and see for yourself.
that is why i don't see any good discussing or
just barely hear what people say here and there.
hope you understand what i am saying.

but anyhow; i am consider a novice in MLM;
therefore; in my opinion; i am not qualified to speak like
sort of prophet or a professional.
you see; i had been people like everybody;
full of suspicion; doubt and distrust with people;
ESPECIALLY when they start talking MLM.
in the past; when they talk MLM; i say they are BULLSHIT.
but when a good friend really tells me with his heart;
i have started to find out the real answer of this career;
why is it sound goods; and why others, people like me,
had such a deep bias over such a career.

and there is one of the article ...
that i found is quite fully explained of its MLM nature.

Honestly speaking, I really do wonder how exactly good and beautiful as what you claimed about Multi-Level Marketing. From what I see in these few posts, you are merely just praising multi-level marketing and telling us to understand and catch the grasp and whatevers of Multi-Level Marketing.
I see your enthusiasm in talking about multi-level marketing. But what I want to know is why it is good, what it is good of, not all the praisings and whatevers. I dont need that.

Just want to ask about something if it can be related to multi-level marketing.
According to what I've learnt, business is a general term that describes all activities and institutions that provides goods and services to satisfy the needs of the society.
Tupperware Singapore also does direct-selling. But their products is a needs of the society because we need them to cook food for our meals, store our food, etc.
But to compare it to water filtration systems, magnetic mattresses and whatevers, I find it weird and awkward. Are these abovementioned really a NEED themselves? Why do we need them?
EDIT: You people can argue whatever you want. I just want to clarify me doubts, thank you very much. -

I think the good thing about MLM for me is the power of leveraging of your network in doing things, no matter in biz or others. -

So far, the local MLM situation in Singapore is very bad, the same as twenty years ago. I have not seen the maturation of the local MLM industry at all, I cannot comment on the global MLM situation as I do not have sufficient information globally.
So far, I can only comment on the local MLM situation. Policies regarding purchase and returns cannot be easily dealt with as MLMers are considered partners of the producer, not purchasers.
Benefits are usually commenting about paychecks and rank/post upgrading. If anyone drops out due to urgent commitments, they are usually relegated to the back ranks even if they had helped build up the downlines.
At talks, most of the time, the companies will get in pseudo experts on certain topics and try and confuse the understanding of the downlines. Health problems have been known to develope in people who are allergic to the products and yet asked to try but no treatment or compensation have been given. The MLM companies merely commented that such people have difficulty adjusting to the products.
Anyone who was trusted once to join a MLM will have their reputation ruined and have very little chance in any further dealings of any sort.
I won't name names but some of the more famous MLM companies are known to have the above mentioned stigma. Yes, the companies are sponsors at national events and on local television channel. -

It's the integrity of the company, its products and policies that count. Former MLMers know they will find it hard to form networks and downlines as they have scammed them before with inferior companies, products and policies.
If I had said I had done some background investigation of 100 odd MLM/pyramid companies in Singapore for the last 20 years, would you accept my views?
