Niutrend International..believe it or not?

I have read some of the topic on NTI, but just want to make sure that this NTI all of you are talking about is the same as Niutrend International.
I personally dont trust this NTI, but a 2 friends of mine have been working under them for sometime.
1 of my friend intro me into this, saying that NTI is giving course on entrepreneur education, which is very interesting and teach her lots of things and so on so for. She ask me to go down and listen to her 'advisor' which will tell me about NTI and so on.
That day when I sat down and listen to her 'advisor', something tell me that this is this not a very good idea. They talk about emcom, sushine empire, e-banking, earn points to go for talks for free, and etc.
When Im asking question like, 'Prove to me that this is not another MLM scam.' my friend or her 'advisor' will reply things like, 'do you think we will rent a place this big and have so many people here just to cheat you $300-$800?'
for the 2hours listening, the more they say the more I doubt about this. but in the end, because of my friend, i sign and pay $20 because I say I didnt have enough money to pay the full amount. [And I didnt plan to pay the full amount anyway..I just treat that the $20 was for movie]
anyway, my friends started to call me to go to NTI and ask me to bring friends down too. But I told her that I cant call my friends down to something that I didnt trust at all. She also ask me to bring my parents down so that when they agree me to this NTI project they will pay full amount, so that she can pass her entrepreneur course.
I started to feel afraid for her, and tell her to give me the website of NTI and their emcom project and the ally for NTI, sushine empire.
Now my friends are tell me to join NTI fully if not I will regret it, and they say they dont want to become rich in the future and only me are far from being rich. I tell them that I will think about it carefully, and I have already make up my mind about not trusting this.
But I wanted to make sure that all this NTI that was talk about here and the NTI that their in so that I can show they some prove. I dont want them to sink farther..

i know some MLM or scam/shady establishments operate like training centers for business and entrepreneurship. they offer u courses, etc, but teaching would be the last thing on their mind.
even if its not nti, be careful.
if want to study, go for courses held by reputable training centers that have a variety of subjects and areas. -

How does renting a big place automatically guarantee one is not a scam? And this thing was something we discussed way back last time, seems stupid that they are using the same old trick again. -
Lots of bullshit going around everywhere these days. U r right to be cautious and I tink that's very prudent of you. Particularly, don't let their success stories fool you. This is a pretty powerful tool to pull wool over your eyes. Sure, there are pple who become very successful but for every one of those success stories, they won't tell you the great number of pple who have fallen. Mebbe out of 10 million failures, there is one success story. They'll focus and glorify on just that 1 and not tell you about the 99,999,999 failures, some of whom might have even gone bankrupt and driven to suicide, blah, blah and more blah..........
It's okay to just listen but if they ask you to pay more than $50 or to commit to something, your alarm bells must be sounding..... If they keep pestering you, just warm them that you can always call the police as this can be tantamount to harrassment..........

think of a way to say you are Not interested in NTI....so that next time your friend ask you, you already have the answer to tell her/him....
Some standard answers (i have grown wiser throughout the years.
) are:
1). Sorry, but i am not interested in this. I have just found a job/ studying for my exams/ etc.....and would Not have time for this, find someone else instead.
2). Sorry, but i am not interested in this way of earning money as its Not my personality to .....(e.g. socialise with people, etc) and i prefer a more conventional way of living and work. Please ask someone else instead.
3). Put him/her on your hp ignore list.

To answer ur question, NTI-paris is indeed the former name of niutrend international. It is the same company as the management is still intact. Their international president is Mr. James Phang. Hence, feel free to draw info on the company from the forum.
I was in the same situation one month ago. My advice to you is to be firm in your stand. Do not join the company merely to help your friend pass his course. It is not just a matter of money but also personal committment, lifestyle adjustment and undertaking additonal responsibilities and expectations.
If you are unprepared to make such sacrifices or your time schedule/future plan does not allow it, then seek your friend understanding and reject them, saying you appreciate their intentions.just give it thorough consideration.
As for trying to change your friend opinion, i would say the best is to leave them along for now. NTI is apparently under restructuring and is coming up with some wireless project. Give NTI till the end of october and we should have official info from IDA who is the bid winner.Time will yell whether NTI is credible or not. -

This is just SOOooo.. hilarious. Anybody who walks past this address will no doubt conclude that the company's business is in female undergarments. It is unthinkable that a company that 'sells' technology operates from here:

Overall, the website is very professionally done but the quality of the text leaves much to be desired, not to mention the occassional typos and slips in formatting.. And I really wonder where they ripped those photos on their website from. It is definitely not from their office which reeks of ginas and bras. -

Most of the chief complaints in sgforums against nti, was hardly against the prospects of the system but rather the delivery of the system
Change is welcomed, but what is disturbing is, many MLM companies, rather than addressing past issues and experience, choose to present a new business structure and image.
This mean, in nti for example, not addressing the issue of people not getting refunds, and the professionalism that was dearly lacking, which has led to many complaints.
You could change your business focus, from lingeries to training, or from aromatherapy to wireless infrastructure or whatever, but is it for a sincere change from the bad past or merely another gimmick to avoid the issues and try to tell people you have 'changed'?
This we have to wait to see, although, from the first post, I am not sure if the fundamentals have been addressed. -
