The current MLM situation is that the MLM market is dead due to influx of too many MLM companies out to make a quick buck and the kiasu nature or once bitten twice shy nature of the locals.

Any MLM, just like any business, needs to be researched extensively before anyone even thinks about joining. There are a lot of scam MLM companies in every country.
The problem is with distributors and prospects who only see the "quick money" and let their emotions and excitment get the best of them. If you have blinders on and believe what ever it is other distributors tell you as fact without asking the tough questions or doing extensive research then most likely you will get burned.
I have been in the MLM industry for 17 years. I have been burned by more than one company. Everyone of the MLMs that I was scammed with I did not do any deep research on before I joined. I did not ask to see financials. I did not look for a history of success. I did not ask to see the leaders checks. I did not read the signs. I simply jumped in because I was one of the first or because the company was new and created a buzz and because I believed what the so called "leaders" told me. I let my emotions take over.
I read a lot of stories on this forum about MLM being the devil and bad and evil and so forth. MLM the business model is sound and successful. It is companies that stray away from this model and distributors that do not do their homework that is the problem.
I have been very successful in Network Marketing (MLM) for many years now and it was not by getting my friends and family or asking somoene to fork over $500 or $1000. I have helped hundreds of people create financial freedom. One person at a time. One day at a time. One hand shake at a time.
It is not MLM that is the problem - these crooks and distributors who steal from people would do the same thing if they were in another industry. It is all about ethics and morals and character - you either have it or you dont. -

The problem is that the financial plans and products that MLM companies come out with are ridiculous. Sure, everyone's looking for financial stability but what services and goods are they offering? before putting a little word; just want to let you know that i had done
my survery for this topic.
my comment is simple:
"those who really understand the essense of MLM ; will definately join MLM; love MLM; and helps all partner to success in every aspect; and eventually will gain success given from other partner" MLM is the ONLY career that has the motto "ONE FOR ALL; ALL FOR ONE".
Think about it. Do convey idea in rational and constructive way. -
