Lets say a local company who are producing a an entirely crop
origin mouldable biopolymer material. Materials such as these have quite a
history, but are being revived on the strength of an increasing perception
of the benefits of minimising environmental impacts, and a rise in the
cost of fossil origin competitor materials.
Does anyone know how to do a project based around the subject of market
development for new "green" materials - particularly how a novel material
might be pitched into a market where the designer and manufacturer already
have a choice of between 40,000-80,000 different materials to choose from.
The benefits to the company would be fresh insight into possible routes,
and pitfalls along those routes to exploitation.
Can anyone offer any advise? comments? suggestions?
