I really tired read all pro & contra MLM. One MLM VS Another MLM
Please write here your opinion.

IMO, life is meaningless without debate or conflict. some people choose to ignore debate because they think it breeds disharmony and endless questions.
i beg to differ. debates and conflicts bring about progress and deeper level of thinking
besides, for those who just joined in, saw those flaming and brush it off as endless debate, they didnt read hard enough
the discussion in this forum is pretty lopsided. the mlm industry is hard pressed to erase its unethical image, yet when faced with barrage of questions, many chose to ignore or avoid. many forgot mlm industry isnt a closed system, besides good products and marketing plan, it need good public relations exercises to win over the public
i am quite diapointed with a lot of mlmers here, althou i do support mlm as business, the many negative conducts of mlmers here are pretty irksome... -
I failed in many MLM, Binary or Pyramid or.....
but actually I didn't fail but my downline failed so I failed too...
After that I'm become 1/2 anti MLM and I am thinking...
How if MLM has a system that really simple and easy so everyone can understand and tell the
other without special training, motivation, etc.
In my opinion this MLM must have these criteria:
1. Must have many kind of products that we just need.
We change the brand we usually buy with this MLM product, not spend
extra money from our budget to buy this MLM product, and the product must
be the same or better quality that we usually use. Has money back
warranty will be better. The price must not expensive compare to other
product which have same quality.
2. The registration membership must cheap, so the MLM doesn't take profit
from every registration, and new member can return the membership, and
get back their money.
3. The payout bonus system and how the system work must simple and
easy to tell. In one peace of paper and maybe just need 10 minutes to
describe it to make people understand.
I'm trying this with one of the MLM. If this doesn't work, maybe I have to build my own MLM company.... -
May i know which MLM company are you with now???
may i try to answer some of your questions???
1) when most idiots decides to start a mlm company thinking of earning a fast bucks, first they have problems finding a good product with price comparable with wat you can get off the shelves in the retail market.....
Let's imagine a toothbrush just for example.... Lets the mlm company and NTUC take it as same cost price. and NTUC only earn 20 cents per toothbrush, the mlm cant possibly sell it as the same margin, if not how to pay out the pv??? so thats why most mlm have to mark up their products super high just for the payout.... So in this case go for the manufacturing based companies that produce their own products... i.e. Nuskin, Amway, Herbal Life, Coslab etc...
2) from a normal company's point of view, the membership fee paid cant be refunded.... if not, who is paying for all the admin work involve??? of cos at the same time, it shouldn't be too high, so from $40 to $60 should be acceptable....... -
3) the payout system can't possible be that simple..... if it is, then most likely it is not able to pay very well for generations too far down...... and more often than not, the plan is dead one..... if you got @#$% up products and system in the company, how attractive the plan is also useless cos your concept cant sell anything...... agree??? Most important is the company, product and together with a workable plan will move things very far......
4) products must be tangible..... dun tell me watever supplements can improve blood circulation or prevent cancer.... how to tell???? when i'm 50??? then most likely the company closed liao i also dunno who to look for if i kena cancer...... hahaha..... Products should show results within short time from 1 to 3 months for ppl to be convinced. and should encourage repeat purchase thru quality products......... example of a damn lousy product is the magnetic mattress with warranty of 10 yrs......... stupid..... -
Why you failed in many MLM???? did you ask yourself????
1) which companies did you join???
2) i believe there is only a bad upline, never a lousy downline.... its your job to help them succeed....
3) How long did you do before you decide you cant make it in the mlm company????
4) Did you try hard enough?? or you just waiting for your downline to bring in sales for you???
5) Did you duplicate properly the system or did you try to come out with your own way and idea on how to do this business????
6) Is your dreams big enough?? Are you focused enough??? Are you serious enough???? I guess not, cos if you're serious, you'll stick to a company thats good and keep going...... -
u are right to say payout from selling toothbrush is small, but mlm companies dont really sell very wide range of products like retail stores
in fact they are specialised, selling high value items like health products and vacuum cleaners
i do see some mlm companies selling small items like toothbrush, but thats because they already a base of high value items
sometimes, small items like cookies are sold for promotions wise or to celebrate some festivals, like Chinese New Year or Hari Raya -
Dear Comac, if you cant even do it right in a MLM company, dun even think of starting one..... you'll only hurt the industry cos a lot of ppl will end up being conned by your company and it'll close in 1 yr......... CONFIRM.......

many scams and unethical companies continue to survive and even evolve to hide from their defractors
one point is that our youngs are getting more and more gullible, so you can be a scam, but u rely on this continuous supply of the foolish ones, even tho ur older members get wiser and leave
one thing for sure tho, i dont see scams get bigger
while the mainstream mlm companies get bigger, the scams continue to claim they are expanding and growing... -

toothbrush is just used as an example..... even a high class products is way too expensive compared to similar item in the market........ a magnetic mattress for example can be gotten for about $500 plus whereas a certain mlm company is selling for 1000 plus to 3k plus for it...... stupid right????
I'm not against mlm, in fact I do believe it can earn money, but just be sure to understand fully what are the factors to help a person succeed..... -

just the other week, some idiots claim they have the right to earn profits, when the issue is really on why should they sell something for higher price, when somebody can sell the exact or similar products for half the price
they think consumers are obliged to pay for the payout distributed to the levels, but any level headed consumers would want to depart with their money? -
ya agree...... just like astral mag to enyouth, from nop then came nti by JP etc.... Ultimately, you first have to know wat you want when getting into mlm and not being lured by the big bucks from it.....
Yes you can earn those kind of money, but it needs a lot of effort and hard work.... not wait for durian to fall.....
Motivation talk is neccessary but not excessively..... -
shiok lor mlm ppl, can go holidays and still earn trillions. me studying like f**k and earn less than peanuts... im willing to suck their **** just for them to give me peas

I failed because of the product. Like you said, the price.
I think it can be the same with the market price, as long as they make smaller PV and BV
Remember they pay bonus from BV not the distributor price.
Example : Shampoo $50 and the BV maybe only $15
Our Rank is 21% so our bonus is 21% X $15 = $3.15
if the BV $10 so the bonus $2.1
And the PV for control quantity.
Example : Shampoo $50 the PV is 5
to get rank 21% we must have 10.000 PV,
so we must sell 2000 Shampoo.
if the PV is 4 we must sell 2500 Shampoo -

However, one thing, if your downliens failed, its also a failure on your part.
As your upline, its your responsibility to train and build up your network. -

what about gold coins? goldquest sells those gold coins , are those prices justifiable?
strange i dont see anyone promoting goldquest in here.
