MLM is not only about doing it in Singapore, this is an international business.Originally posted by Gazelle:I am just wondering how long can you survive in Singapore doing MLM?
If you are making $5K per month today, will you be able to tell roughly how much you will make in about 2 years time?
Do you have CPF contribution doing MLM?
Is it true that those guys doing MLM has very little friends cause everybody want to avoid them?
thank you for your explanation. Do you have any idea what is the average monthly income for someone doing MLM? Maybe you can give us a range (e.g. 1000 - 10000)Originally posted by angang:MLM is not only about doing it in Singapore, this is an international business.
Example if you are making $5K now, so, if you are still doing some prospecting, etc, and your downlines grow, you will see the increase in your income.
As for CPF, you will need to top-up yourself, same for reporting for Tax. And when you report for tax, you are consider as a self-employ. If you need more questions on this, just call up the IRAS and they will be able to help you.
Yes, in some sence cos' they are using hard selling, or make use of their friendship to 'trick' their friend down for OPP, etc. For me, I was also once in their shoe, but later change my way of doing it, and can say that now, evern my family members are also doing MLM, and very suppport - once they get to understand this industry.
Hope this helps.

For that kind of money, is it worth losing so many friends??Originally posted by I-like-flings(m):more like $200 to $800 for most if u ask mi...haha anyway nice signature
I had survived for more than 5 years before I had to stop for some reasons. But I do agree that doing MLM in S'pore is not easy becos of the mindset of most ppl that we had to approach our friends and relative to start with. Many think that they don't feel comfortable earning their $.Originally posted by Gazelle:I am just wondering how long can you survive in Singapore doing MLM?

Depends. Here some example:Originally posted by Gazelle:thank you for your explanation. Do you have any idea what is the average monthly income for someone doing MLM? Maybe you can give us a range (e.g. 1000 - 10000)
Considering Singapore is such a small market, do you have reason to believe that you will still be able to continue expanding your MLM network in 5 to 10 years time?Originally posted by Mrs Bubbly:I wish to share that usually one thing good about MLM is that we determine our income. So if we worked hard enough, we get many times the income than our peers who are employed.
Unlike under employment, no matter how hard we work, we still get that fixed pay every month.
If you are doing MLM in USA and drawing USD10K per month I dont think it is alot of money. However for doing nothing, it is really not too bad. (Is this consider as the high end earners or average earner in the USA?)Originally posted by angang:Depends. Here some example:
Rod Nichols (Who is also author of MLM book), who is in MLM for many years, is now drawing more then US10,000 per month.
John Bremner (Who is also author of MLM book), semi-retired, is drawing also that kind of money.
I have come across someone who just started, first few month, is only drawing about S$1000+- per month.
Hmm, your first question vary from person to person, company to company. Roughly its always based on similar individuals within the coy and the system itself.Originally posted by Gazelle:I am just wondering how long can you survive in Singapore doing MLM?

The high earner can draw about US50K per month, it all depends. I know someone who is the top distributor, drawing US30k per month, and still growing.Originally posted by Gazelle:If you are doing MLM in USA and drawing USD10K per month I dont think it is alot of money. I kinda agreeOriginally posted by mlmsupporter:Pls continue to do your job or career, treat mlm as a 2nd source of passive income, residual income! thats it! simple.. nobody ask you to really put a lot of time in it, nobody says that it can earn as fast as it can overide your current paycheck! So just treat it as a 2nd source of income!...
Depend on the person who introduce the system and marketing plan.Originally posted by Gazelle:Is it true that those guys doing MLM has very little friends cause everybody want to avoid them?
guess it is best to do MLN in other countries other that your home town ... since you got nothing to loseOriginally posted by Gazelle:I am just wondering how long can you survive in Singapore doing MLM?

I believe for some industries, Statistics will not tell the detail, or worse still, not even close to the real value.Originally posted by teekh:The average turnover(haven't even count profit) for Amway agents is US$2000 fyi.
$6 billion sales from 3m agents. Hence $2000.
