Capital is guaranteed, but not the yield.
The 8% - 20% yield mentioned give an impression that the minimum yield is 8% (which is not guaranteed).
Thus at the end of the contract, the yield could be negative, and at the end you only get back your capital!
The fixed deposit in an Established Bank is a better bet than any investment of such nature.
