not so sure about the actual price of manufacturing a mattress tho... but i do feel that the mattresses are grossly overpriced.
when my godma heard that magnetic therapy was effective for the body, she immediately bought those ordinary magnets from a neighbourhood shop and sewed these into a mattress. and it helped... cost her less than 20 bucks.
and even if you would to take a medical magnet... how high can the price get? will someone do the calculations for me? -

not sure how many magnets she used. only knew that she used ordinary magnets and it helped.
ok... i shall make things easier for you. i'll give you the liberty to assume that my godma's case was an exceptional one. n the only kind of magnets which have proven themselves as effective cures for various ailments are medical magnets...

can you do the calculations for me? PROVE IT here that the price of a magnetic mattress is not overly hyped up, even with the use of medical magnets. -

out of my ignorance, i have browsed through the net and this is what i found.
a magnetic mattress selling for only 200 bucks to 400 bucks at most. bracelets are going at 50 bucks or so.
that only proves one thing: the cost of manufacturing is much lower than that. let's assume they manage to break even with a normal profit of zero dollars. wots the price of a mattress in sg? 1500. okay so we shall take 1500 - 200 = 1300. yeah that's not alot actually, considering mlm coms have to divide the plunder among themselves. or what? bulk of the profit goes to the shipping company. then why bother to import a product when so much of it goes to shipping>
the price is way too behind us... let's create a competitive edge by marking up the price a bit further ? -
