well, i figure out that if i happen not to prefer classroom teaching, i will jus convert to private tutoring in the future...it's good money, and i still get satisfaction out of teachingOriginally posted by choco B:Be warned: teaching can be hell too.

yeha i guess every job has its pros and cons..but at least teaching is a life long profession. and i definitely have an interest in teaching..Originally posted by sillyme:yes it's fun to teach kids.
it's not fun with tons of MOE redtapes.. principals and HODs coming down on you, saying no all the time..
it's not fun when parents come screaming at you if their kids don't do well..

dear i guess u r right..i shan't complain all the time..i jus couldnt help it after some stuff happened today, which i will explain to u later.Originally posted by froggie:Aiyoh my dear so jialat until must let out like that ar?
Don't you worry ok, May is coming soon. I will stand by you one. At the most u can pour out your sad story at work to me at home.
Ok so much for all the sayanging....now for some serious trashing! No lah just kidding.
I think you have let one thing sink into your mind. Let's see what others have to say about this as well. Well, if you don't like the job or think that that place is fark up, you can either choose to leave to stay on till u find another job. As for your case, you know u will be leaving somewhere in May to further your studies. I know you will be looking forward to that. However, till then, there is no point complain or constantly think that your job is fark up coz it will only make you feel more miserable. Bottomline is, you are paid to do a job. So like it or not just do it. I think that's fair.
At times there would be situation that you think things could be done in a more problem manner rather then being so disorganised. I have learned one thing from my working experience. Hope you can apply it too. 'Whenever there is a problem, dun go to your superior and tell them you problem but rather go to them, tell them the problem that you are facing and PROPOSE A SOLUTION to the problem".
By doing that not only you distinguish yourself from the passive ones but you are also conveying a msg indirectly. 'Look I've got a problem and this is m solution. What do you think?' Guess what? In most cases they will either give you another solution that may be different or accept your solution. It human nature lor. If you just tell them your problem, they will tell you that they will look into it but do they really do that? NO! Remember Stephen Covey's 7 habits of highly effective people? First habit is to be Pro-Active.
Well so much for the lecturing. Cheer up already dear. You will be fine. I know that.![]()
