Managers who do not delegate, leave you to do nothing whole day at the office for nearly a month. only need u to attend meetings so u can write notes and type minutes because he is slow in writing.
the rest he can bao ga liao. so you surf the net the whole day becos u r bored. he also never feedback to big boss, so big boss thinks u're slacking on ur own accord, which is simply not true. so big boss ask you do some other work after another manager liaise with my manager. u tell ur manager what big boss said, he is unwilling to let u go help out the other manager???!!
so what he expect me to do??? slack??!!!
i am going crazy! -
and he cant form a sentence of proper english... prob that explains his poor skills of delegation??

speak to yr manager, ask if there's anything u can help? maybe for a start he will ask u to do small small stuff, make use of this opportunity to see what's he is doing and see if u can provide ideas? or maybe just casually ask " eh.. u doing this ar.. can teach me? coz i very interested leh..."
u carry on and i think sooner or later he will get u involve, so u guys become like partners instead of manager n subordinate relationship -

and bearbear, i am not the sort who enjoy doing nothing. i dun mind is its for a few days. but it has been a few weeks!!!
i rather take unpaid leave and rest til they need me back again....
i have told him lots of times that i am bored and i want some work. he jus nodded his head and diam diam. HIS MOUTH GOT GOLD AH!!! (oh, its prob his english.)
so far all the work is given by my marketing manager, who is not my direct supervisor also. -
and the work is like, small assignments which i can finish in half an hour....so i am still bored!!!
and my manager doesnt feed back to his supervisor that i am actually not necessary to be in the set up so early!! -
