I won't eat anything solid...especially cold stuff...
Don't bite anything hard on the extracted area....the blood will stop eventually. -

Normal extraction issit? Don't worry about the blood, that's normal.
Did the dentist give you those cotton swab to bite on? Just pop it in your mouth and bite on it - HARD. Pressure will stop the bleeding.
Drink liquids for now, till bleeding stops.
I think heat will aggravate, so no hot drinks. Open wound may be sensitive to ice-cold too. Take drinks / food that are room temperature. -

Drink milo or milk for now? & cook watery porridge for lunch.

See if you have any of those cotton swab material (comes in rolls) in your first aid box and make yourself a swab. Biting on it hard is the fastest way to stop bleeding

chioco is rite,biting on a cotton swab hard will cease the bleeding.
and cold food will also help,never eat hot stuff for now.it will kill u.
the pain is unbearable for the 1st 2 days, jux try to sleep as much as u can.and blood is blood,its not dirty unless u contaminate it then put it back in ya mouth,so no worries there about swallowing ya own blood. -

eh i only 24 this yr leh....and i got my first adult tooth extracted....i very scared wor...
i have promised to myself that i will visit the dentist every month for him to give my mouth a good washing.

Swabs are free. For your next extraction (touch wood! ), take a few more and bring home in case you need them.
