i do hope people understand what is important in a marriage.. it sure as hell isn't a shiny trinket but the love, respect, admiration, devotion and sincerity of their partner... the rest don't really matter....

Money and riches can't buy love. That's the truth and nothing but the truth. I truely believe what bear says about the love and devotion required in a marriage. I dun need to be rich in order to find true love because I am not rich now but I have already found my true love.
BUT.......to be a little bit more comfortable in the pocket can be a good thing too. We all know that money can't buy you love. Sometimes being comfortable financially saves you a lot of heartaches and reduces unnecessary strain on the relationship. Maybe that's why I have yet to pop the question?
Back to the question. I can't think of what I would say but I might do what a guy would do traditionally.....getting down on my knees with roses on one hand and a diamond ring on the other. Yes I would do that even if its in the public. In fact I would choose to do it in the most crowded place because its a declaration of my love and I am not ashame to let the whole world know. -
