yah you are right. So I want something practical also. A container that is big enough to contain staff that is useful(can replenish maybe), yet not big enough to be encumbersome and also can fit into a hand carried bag.Originally posted by skeujin:if in a bag or pouch people will jus dump one side. trying having it framed up. n add the tag. i thought a display frame will be more practical as when displayed, the person can look at it whenever she is down and it will bring a smile to her face.
err you have the basic idea of what u wana do but u seem to be making it too complicated. end up your gift will have little direction n look like a junk box.Originally posted by crimson soldier:edited my post mah.
I want a gift 33% practical(not 100% like a tshirt, pair of shoes etc.), 33%aesthetic(not like jewellery mah), 33% symbolism(not like 99 stalks of roses).
Hope I'm not hard to please, and that my gift is a little bit of everything
ok! will take your comment into consideration..Originally posted by skeujin:err you have the basic idea of what u wana do but u seem to be making it too complicated. end up your gift will have little direction n look like a junk box.

Hmmm i think brainstorming is always like that ....start big and scale down last time do projects in school I realised that
haha you are right still. Somehow a part of me says, "simple, practical, pretty, meaningful" but another part says "impossible to put all of them together".Originally posted by skeujin:simple things sometimes make the best gifts. jus look at your gift of n umbrella. nice...

Many girls prefer to keep meaningful gifts received, even if they are meant to be utilised. I guess that she would most likely retain this kit which you are preparing for her, since it's not even going to be 100% practical anywayOriginally posted by crimson soldier:edited my post mah.

I will think about it and come back later...Thanks!Originally posted by huiz:maybe for a start, you want to tell us the list of significances you wish to convey to her. then we suggest gifts which are suitable that can be linked to it.
