Heard on the CNY Friday Live show hosted by Mary that she is born in the year of the X...
Uh oh... now those who watch it know her age...
Anyway, we'll support her until the day she decide to call it quits... -

whew... what a long spate of silence...
I'm pretty glad Mary is doing the evening shift. In that way, I get to hear her programmes... and of course, her voice.
but seriously, i really miss her "moonlight lady" days. although that was a long time ago, I still remember it with much fondness. well, let's just say it was good while it lasted. -
Anyway, I heard Mary appealing for feedback on her zhong guo feng (ZGF) program some time ago... so here is some response.

I think China would have no lack of talent in song writing or production. (1.2 billion people who uses Chinese 95% of the time... certainly no shortage of talent).
On a personal note, it would seem that PRC songs have a unique style... PRC songs tend to take on a different style... something i can't ariticulate well. it's to do with being more indifferent, being more bo chap about the things about you...
also, they seem to have relatively simpler arrangement (which is not a bad thing).
Not trying to make sweeping statements here... just having some difficulty saying what i mean...
what about the rest? any thoughts on ZGF?
