Seeing jeifen garnering support for Hikki inspired me to do the same for Hirai Ken

Anyway, even if you have not heard of Hirai Ken, I'm sure you have heard of his works. Yes, F4 "Liu Xing Yu" was actually a cover version of Hirai Ken's self-composed "Gaining Through Losing", the hit off his latest album of the same title.
I may not understand Jap, but the tune and Hirai Ken's rendition touches me as much as Hikki's "First Love" did, though in a different way. "First Love" is more romantic and sad, "Gaining Through Losing" is more upbeat and inspiring. Go take a listen at his other songs as well, like "Rakuen" and "Miracles".
We have David Tao and Jay Chou for the Chinese scene, Babyface and Brian Mcknight for the English R&B fans, it's time we have a male R&B rep from the Japanese scene, in the form of HIRAI KEN...
"We've been gaining one good thing through losing another.
I'm so proud to be with you, my love.
Now you know the meaning of SUNSHINE AFTER RAIN.
Let me tell you LIFE IS GOOD, my friends."
(PS: This is the only English para in the song.)
