When they say xxxx is the industry to go into, you students better not follow and take the course in the ITE/poly/Uni.
Confirm next time not enough jobs or end up with lower than average paying positions in that industry.

Obviously we are trying to upgrade to be at the top. But theres a limit to the expansion of Singapore as compared with China or US for instance, they got plenty of space, big population.

I won't be surprised Dr Chee and gang will. There is nothing wrong about protesting. The LHL, evil LKY and gang are too paranoid, kiasu kiasi. Everything has to be under their control, this is how they keep their jobs of running Singapore.Why must register for protest? Protest means protest, must register. This is the way they can track people and blacklist them. LHL so kiasu kiasi to restrict the venues. Truly if singapore is democratic, protest will not be so tightly controlled.

As I TS in another post, protest is our birthright and the PAP has taken it away from us. Now they are giving us back - bits as time suits them.
My guess about the PAP is right after all - the tide is slowly turning against them. The days of iron-fist rule, fist-in-your face control has to come to an end.....

Actually, for me I was not against or for the PAP until now.... I'm against many injustice and social ills around and I attribute PAP to be the hindrance of improvement.
I am upset that our country has the lowest brith-rate in the world. This happened within the span PAP rule. It is not like we have revolving govts and hence such scenerio. All this under the very control and manipulation of the PAP, not to mention their arrogance and boostfulness. They failed us.
I am upset that our population mix is changing rapidly. Ten years ago, I would never believe that I would study here with 5 Sgaporeans, 20 foreigners.
And the foreigners outwit, outsmart, outlast all of us. I remember one bloody buaya foreigner classmate. The way he chased our local girl - no mercy, no respect for our culture, no 'hiu' to the locals, arrogance and full of I-better-than-you attitude.
I was in a situation where I was forced to watch and can't do anything - situation hated so much to be in. -

LKY has in fact acknowledged it was his 2 is enough policy in the past that partially contributed to the problem of low birth rate.Unless Pay and Pay change 360 degree, if not don't hope that life will be better in this tiny little dot.
The problem with Pay and Pay is they think we are all idiotic kids that they have to dictate to tell us what to do. I have enough of them. Their arrogance, greediness, evil, oppression, self centredness, stupidity knows no end.

To a certain extent, I agree that more care & concern towards the citizen is required form our govt. For eg, by increasing ERPs, it does not confirms having a smoother drive. They need to come out with other ways to smoothen the road condition. If w/o our current govt, where shall be standing. ( Maybe still a small 3rd world country?
